This was a link to "Geode's Commemoration Page" that is now lost to me.
Geode helped me first reach out into the realm of the newsgroup ASAR(pre-moderated).... and the off-newsgroup exchange we had. She helped me through getting started on an anonymous server and just mostly 'listened', making brief but insightful comments that were very to the point.... and a few stupid little things like quips about life in small towns in the Midwest...
...and a simple note of thanks to an Australian couple that I 'conversed' with,
but for whom I have lost both their e-mail address and rl names (from a hard disk crash).
I started on here by sending e-mail directly to these people. They each helped me greatly, in different ways.
