WCA 25th Annual Art Exhibition

 

Judges

 

Pam, Norma and Brian, converting their artistic expertise into action, determine the award winners of the exhibition. 

 



Pam Giarranta - a native New Englander, has exhibited nationally and regionally in many significant juried shows over several years. Two articles about her painting methods have been written for American Artist Magazine. See American Artist, December, 2002 issue page 14-16, and American Artist Magazine, June 2003 issue. Pamela's paintings can be seen at local art exhibits at Newburyport Art Association, North Shore Arts Association, and at the Francesca Anderson Fine Arts group show June 15- July 30 in Lexington MA.   Norma Dominick Floyd has an M.A. and M. Ed. From Harvard University and is a graduate of Oberlin College and Conservatory. She has studied watercolor, oil acrylics, drawing and portraiture at the Museum School of the MFA and at the DeCordova Museum School, as well as in Europe and with Copley Artist Celia Judge. She has exhibited art in juried shows at the DeCOrdova Museum and in area shows. She will be in a group show with Art at Walden and at the Depot Square Museum in November 2005. Also a professional classical musician, Ms. Floyd was principal violist of the Hamburg Symphony, Germany. She has taught at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts, New England Conservatory, and has judged music performance competitions and served as Artistic Advisor to the Heritage Museum.

  Brian Dubina - A native of New England and owner of the Canvas Ally Gallery in Reading, Massachusetts, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University, and since that time has been working corporately in graphic design, as well as freelancing in illustration and exhibiting as a fine artist.
