Barbara Forrestall

After graduation from Boston State College with a B.S. degree in elementary education, followed by a M.A. in education with a focus on family counceling from Antioch University, Barbara taught fourth grade until her retirement in 2000.
Barbara began a quilting journey in 2001, first attending classes in local quilt shops and workshops at the biannual Lowell Quilt Festival.  She credits most of her progress to the many generous and helpful members of the Tewksbury Piecemakers Guild.  In addition to the guild she is also a member of the International Quilt Study Group at the University of Nebraska, the Applique Society and the Wilmington Arts Council.
