Willovu Kennel

Willovu Kennel was established in 1997 to give a "name" to our growing "hobby". We are currently located in Evansville, Indiana, which is in the southwestern part of the state, on the Ohio River boarder, across from Henderson, Kentucky.

We purchased our first "show dog" in 1996. She is a beautiful Keeshond, Allante's Rock Candy, CD,CGC,TDI - "Pebbles". Pebbles showed briefly in conformation, then continued showing in obedience. She is our resident "comedian".

In 1997 we fell in love with a friend's Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. When our friend decided to sell her, we purchased our first Cavalier in 1998, AKC CH. Ravenrush Dulcimer of Winthrop. We "specialed" her for about a year, then in 1999 "Dulci" blessed us with our first home-bred litter(This was accomplished with a lot of help from Dulci's breeders.)

Three Skye Terriers also came to live with us in 1999. To facilitate a friend's dream to own, show and breed Skyes, we co-own and care for Gates Irish Creme at Kambridge ("Brystol"), Gates Makin' Trouble At Kambridge ("Bailey"), and Gates Witchy Woman At Kambridge("Raven"). A fourth Skye lives with our friend, his name is AKC CH. Gates Kambridge Klassic Sparky ("Sparky"). If bred, future prodigy from these dogs will go by the kennel name - "Kam-Will".

Over the past six years we have been accumulating knowledge and experience, laying a firm foundation for our future showing and breeding plans. We are and always will be ... "Striving for Excellence in Temperment, Type, and Structure".

Our future plans include moving to the 32 acres that we have acquired in rural Henderson Co., Kentucky, where, nestled in the fields, a quarter of a mile back from the highway entrance we will be building and establishing "WilloAcres Farm and Kennels". This boarding, training, and grooming facility will be developed to provide an attractive, clean, comfortable and stimulating environment for pets.
