Mr. Wilkinson's Math Page
A couple of questions for all visitors:

a.  What is it that you want to accomplish?

b.  What are you willing to do to accomplish that?
To stay focused, write your goals on your mirror, on your book cover, on your refrigerator, someplace where you will see it and think about it often.

General Hints for all classes:

Do the
HOMEWORK each day.
WRITE the original problem;
SHOW ALL WORK for each problem

TAKE NOTES
Keep your notes
organized in a folder.  Notes will be graded.
It is a valuable skill.

BE CURIOUS
Ask
WHY?
Why does that work?
Why doesn't this work?
Why are we learning this?

Ask
HOW?
How can we solve this problem in a different way?
How can we make this easier?

    Homework Hotline Number:
           777-2222  ext. 2641

Don't rely on the Homework Hotline.
Being in class and writing down the assignments directly from the board is much more reliable.

Get the phone number of at least 1 reliable student in your class.  You can call this person if you are absent, or you can work together if you are having difficulty with an assignment.

After School HELP is available almost every day.  All you have to do is ask and stay.  This Winter I'll be coaching wrestling.  During wrestling season, we'll do our best to arrange help sessions before school or during a lunch period.
