Damn!  Another fuckin disclaimer...

There was a time in my life when I used to wear my hair long, follow the Dead, and go to every "legalize this", and "liberate that" demonstration that I could get my beatup old Cadie coupe de' ville to make it to.  I wore friendship bracelets and power stones, and I thought I was really "in it", and making a difference.  Then one day I realized that I was in it... Unfortunately, what I was in wasn't the "it" that I was shooting for.  I marched for peace for Central America with a bunch of fuckin morons who shouted at the tops of their lungs, but knew absolutely nothing about the issue.  Potheads screaming for legalization because they wanted to go to DC to smoke the "herb-lite" that was being handed out in the park, not because they had a fuckin clue what legalizing the shit could accomplish for our economy (or the simple fact that criminalizing the consumption of marijuana is unconstitutional!).  I was interested in things like, "Why do we pay income tax at the end of the year when 30% of our bread is sucked out of our paychecks each and every week?", and "How come corporate lobbyists have more say in what laws are passed than I do?".  I got a lot of puzzled looks and vacant stares, needless to say. Long sad story short, I gave up on trying to be "in it", and settled into a more comfortable life of annoyed conformity, with occasional outbursts of radical thinking... Until now. Recent personal and world events have resparked my interest in imposing my belief system on any and all who care to partake of it.  So, just for the record, I do not currently, nor I have I ever belonged to any political party, I am not now, nor have I ever been a member of any federal, state, or local law enforcement agency, and I have no religious affiliations.  I also don't care if I'm right or wrong, and I don't give a shit who's offended by my opinions.  I'm simply a person who makes occasional observations, likes to write them down, owns a computer and a DSL line, and has too much free time on my hands. Disclaimer: Put simply...  If you donate 16 cents a day to help a starving child, or if you delight to Oral Roberts guest hosting the 700 club, if you thought Reagan was a pretty good guy, or that our government works honestly for our best interests, you will be offended, shocked, and appalled if you read anything on this site.  Do us both a favor and take this opportunity to browse beanie baby prices on Ebay... Oh yeah, if you don't know who Reagan is, you're probably a disrespectful, knowitall, spoiled rotten, product of poor parenting by the MTV generation... Basically, a little shit who's too young to know anything about anything... so go take a hit of X, listen to your Phish CD, and bitch about how unfair life is to someone who gives a flying fuck. -Woody
