Fan Club: If there were a major disaster on earth and you and only one other person were left, who would it be and why?

Paul: My chick Kristie. She's a wonderful person. We get along great plus she's a total hottie.

Fan Club: What is your inspiration when writing songs?

Paul: Good question. I look to a lot of things for inspiration. Seeing a good movie or a heavy concert can put me in a great song writing mood. Sometimes just a certain sound in my guitar rack can set me off.

Fan Club: How did you meet Sebastian?

Paul: Baz and I met at the 1992 Donnington Festival in England. The bill was IRON MAIDEN, SKID ROW and SLAYER. There were some other bands on the bill as well but I'm running a blank. Anyway, I was working with SLAYER at the time. That show was a lot of fun.

Fan Club: You and Sebastian have an awesome vibe together on stage. What do you attribute that vibe to?

Paul: Respect. I'm so proud to share the stage with such an incredible presence. Sebastian's energy is so intense that it just rubs off on me. He is the greatest front man I've ever seen.

I remember the Moscow concert on Pay-Per-View back in 88 or 89. Skid Row opened the show. Sebastian was on fire. It was the first time I saw him on the stage. Anyway, he blew me away. I remember saying: "Wow, I wanna play in a band with that guy".

Fan Club: What's your favorite guitar ever?

Paul: I love guitar questions. I can't believe it. I just received a brand new BC RICH MOCKINGBIRD. This guitar is amazing. I wish I had a story behind one of my old guitars but I really don't. This new MOCKINGBIRD just blows me away. It has a natural finish. I used it on the MAXIMUM ROCK Pay-Per-View concert for the songs CAUGHT IN A MOSH and ONLY.

Fan Club: What is your ultimate goal as a musician?

Paul: My Ultimate goal as a musician is to leave this earth as a proud owner of a huge body of work.

Fan Club: Who are your influences?

Paul: My influences are: EDWARD VAN HALEN and GENE SIMMONS

Fan Club: What do you like most about being on tour?

Paul: Playing the shows.

Fan Club: You guys have spent a lot of time together at this point, what is your impression of each band member?

Paul: Bam Bam: Where's my beer, I mean J.D.
    Larry: Toys R Us.
Richie: Who threw out my Chinese food!!!!
Baz: Hey Bam Bam, for the last time stay away from my Molsen Ice.

Fan Club: What impressed you most while on tour?

Paul: Baz never, ever losing his voice.

Fan Club: What is your impression of the fans on this tour?

Paul: The thing that impressed me the most about the Sebastian Bach fan base is the overall volume they put out at the shows. None stop screaming like I've never heard.

Fan Club: We have heard you were hit in the head with the "twirling mic of death". How many times were you hit and what was your reaction?

Paul: Owwwwwww!!!!!!!! He didn't realize he hit me either... Fucking Prick!!!!  But Larry got it the worst, right in the middle of his fore head.

Fan Club: What's your favorite song to play live?

Paul: Monkey Business is my favorite song to play live.

Fan Club: Were you surprise at the number of fans that were showing up at the shows?

Paul:  No, I wasn't surprised. I'm very aware of Baz's following.

Fan Club: How do you prepare yourself for an upcoming gig?

Paul: Stretch my neck, blast some Pantera.

Fan Club: What do you do after a concert to kick off the adrenaline rush after a show?

Paul: Unfortunately there is nothing I can do to kick off the adrenaline after a show. It just take time to come down.

Fan Club: How is it different for you to be on the stage with Sebastian Bach & Friends
then it is with Anthrax, or is it the same for you?

Paul: I love playing with ANTHRAX. It's an "in-your-face" approach to live performance. I feel very strong up there with those fuckers.

Baz has a lot of laid back songs : 18, I Remember You, Super Jerk, etc. You get the idea (not a bad thing, I love the dynamics). He is such a character. I tend to smile a lot more when I'm on stage with him. I never know what he's gonna do next. He constantly keeps me laughing.

Fan Club: What would be the ultimate cover to include in the set?

Paul: The ultimate cover song: VICTIM OF CHANGES by Judas Priest.

Fan Club: What impressed you most about the fans while on tour?

Paul: Sebastian Bach shows it's about 70% chicks. With ANTHRAX it's about 90% guys.

Fan Club: What are your likes & dislikes about the music business?

Paul: I love playing on stage. I dislike all the schmoozing that goes on back stage.

Fan Club: Everyone I've talked who seen the shows this tour talk about how awesome you are! How does it feel to be rocks greatest guitarist?

Paul: Rock's greatest guitarist???? You got the wrong guy..... Richie Scarlet is the EMPEROR of ROCK

Fan Club: What is your biggest vice? Pet peeve?

Paul: My biggest vice is the late night pizza after a show. My biggest pet peeve is passive cigarette smoke. I got the worst sinus infection on the Baz tour because of passive smoke. I was in pain for over a month. I couldn't even head bang on stage.

Fan Club: Do you prefer the atmosphere of an arena or the intimacy of a club?

Paul: I love clubs and arenas. Arenas have great catering and well, big crowds. I love the smell and heat of a club. The sweating rules!

Fan Club: If you could put together your "dream tour" who would you chose?

Paul: Any tour with Pantera or Slayer is fine in my book.

Fan Club: What is the biggest down side of being on the road? In light of that, would you trade it for anything in the world?

Paul: The biggest downside is the flying. I don't like flying! Would I trade it???? Hell yes but I can't. I wish I could get beamed around like Captain Kirk.

Fan Club: How was the repetitiveness of the fans on this tour?

Paul: The fans were very warm. I always do the best I can to give them the attention they deserve.

Fan Club: After working with Sebastian this past tour, what most impressed you with him?

Paul: Sebastian's focus is unbelievable I really can't explain it. It's on a more spiritual end.

Fan Club: What impressed you most about each band member musically?

Paul: They all have a basic love for music, no matter what kind they like. Baz loves and knows alot about metal history, Bam Bam loves his drums, Larry loves to look at guitars and Richie's love for classic rock is heartfelt.

Fan Club: What is your most memorable road story?

Paul: oops, nope can't say that...oops can't say that one either...oops, nope...

Fan Club: Which cartoon character best describes each band member?

Paul: Baz= Dafffy Duck, Bam Bam = Animal from the Muppets, Larry= Baby Huey, Richie = Timmy from South Park

Fan Club: When your not on the road what keeps you busy?

Paul: Playing and composing

Fan Club: Who is the most intriguing celebrity that you have met in your Rock n Roll history?

Paul: David Lee Roth

Fan Club: What musical direction would you like to see Sebastian Bach & Friends go in for the next C.d.?

Paul:  Baz's direction is fine. I'm going to do the best I can and play my ass off for him.

Fan Club: What's the funniest thing that's happened to you since you've been with Bach & Friends?

Paul: Baz attempted to throw a cake in my face on stage for my birthday in Detroit..he missed. Then he kicked it out into the crowd and got it all over his boot. This chick took cake off of the stage and ate it.

Fan Club: What's your Favorite place to play?

Paul: Chicago/Milwakee are the best places to play in the states.

We have heard nothing but Great reviews about Paul and he is truly wonderful to all the fans! On behalf of "all the fans" we would like to say Thanks Paul and Mark once again for kickin ass!
