in India as well as outside India.
I visited lots of wildlife places in India and I liked all of them
because every place keeps its own significance. India's wildlife is
both rich and varied. India is famous for Tigers. Here we also find
lots of bird species. If you want to know more about wildlife of India
then visit wildlife sanctuaries and national parks of India. Here are
uncountable sanctuaries and parks related to wildlife where one can
explore the unexplored Indian wildlife.
Recently, I got the opportunity to visit Jim Corbett Park. This
wildlife park is situated in Uttaranchal, the foothills of the
Himalayas. This national park is home to a variety of flora and fauna.
Jim Corbett National Park is famous for its wild population of Tigers,
Leopards and Elephants.
Jim Corbett National Park in India is home for wild population of
Tigers, Leopards and Elephants. In the Jim Corbett National Park
consists 112 tree species, 51 mammals, 570 bird species and 24 reptile
species.
Jim Corbett National Park was named as Hailey National Park
in 1936. Jim Corbett National Park was renamed in 1954-55 as Ramganga
National Park and again in 1955-56 as Jim Corbett National
Park. Jim Corbett Park was named in 1907 to 1936 after hunting
tigers who turned into man-eaters by Jim Corbett. This wildlife park
is India's 1st and oldest National Park. This national park is a haven
for Tigers as well as its prey. Park consists four kinds of Deer, Wild
Boar and other variety of well-known animals. Leopards are also found
in this park but only in hilly areas. One can also find other types of
cats likeLeopard Cat, Jungle Cat and Fishing Cat. Sloth Bear is also
found in the lower regions of the park. There are variety of Indian
Mongoose, Otter, Palm Civet, Blacknaped Hare and Porcupine in this
park. There is one more major attraction of this park which are
Elephants. These are found along the Ramganga River shores.
