Tekken

Part 2: Arrival on Meishima Island

by Gira Galin

Narrator:  Since the human race began, we've been fighting.  Claiming that the purpose of battle is to defend such things as 'TRUTH' and 'JUSTICE'.  There two words are just excuses.  Ever since the first human was born, there has been a memory, an instinct to fight.  This instinct is focused and becomes a person's Tekken.  Tekken has been imprinted on our very thoughts, causing us to fight for survival.  Once, every four years, an evil man named Heihachi Meishima ( Hey-ha-chee  Mee-she-mah ) invites the strongest martial arts masters from all over to his island resort to compete in his Tekken tournament....

    Tokyo Bay...

    "Back off you fool!"

"I must get on the boat."

"Look, man, I don't know who told you that you could get on with out an invitation but they were dead wrong!"

"I must get on the boat."

    "Shut-up!..."

    "Hiya!"

Relena Kazama knocks down one of the guards with her lethal round-house.  She turns to look at her partner he just finished knocking out the other guard.

"What's all the ruckus out here?"

"Sorry mister Zechs but this man is trying to get on board without an invite!"

"Just let him on.  I don't have time to waste and plus, he probably is a skilled fighter anyway."

    "Y... yes sir!"

    On the boat...

"So these are the Tekken fighters?"

"Yep and any one of them could kill ya in a second.  Hey, look over there."

A girl, obviously native america is sitting in a window near the back of the dinning hall.  She appears to be extremely deep in thought as they watch her.

"A little skinny to be a world champion."

"Oh come off it!  When will you stop criticizing women like that?!"

    "Yow!  Sorry!  Gosh!"

Outside on the dock of the ship...

"Looks like my dear brother won't be joining us.  Nina probably finished him.  WHAT?!"

On the Tokyo Bay bridge looking down on the boat is a handsome young man with pitch black hair.

    "Guess I was wrong..."

The young man jumps off the bridge and lands gracefully on the bridge of the ship, unaware that Relena Kazama and Duo Wu-Long are watching in the shadows.

"Ah dear brother how are you?"

"I have no intention of exchanging pleasantries to a man I hardly know."

"Brother?  But I thought Meishima's only son was his adopted son." Duo pondered aloud.

"Oh well guess you may stay for the ride.  I have no intention of forcing a talented young man like yourself not to compete."

< That's him!  The boy from my dream only now, I sense not a kind and caring soul but a soul possessed by the demon of hate.  Is this really the boy from the past?! > she fought with her inner self as the young man brushed by and went inside the hutch...

Later that day, on the bridge of the ship...

She leaned her back on the bow of the ship and basked herself in the beauty of the sun.  What a beautiful day, she thought before her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps.  She glanced to her right and saw the same young man from earlier, leaning against the railing of the ship and staring out at the sapphire waters.  She blushed, hoping the words would come to her so she could find out who this stranger was but it didn't happen.  she sighed and blushed deeper than before when he looked at her.

    "Uh... hi!  Beautiful day huh?"

He just nodded his head and turned back towards the waters.  He stayed there until he caught sight of the island then walked back to the covered area of the boat.

< finally father, finally I'll have revenge for what you did to me...>

    Meishima island resort...

"I welcome you all to Meishima island." announced Zechs as he stood on the balcony of the twenty story, pagoda, tower.  "It is an honor to meet you all."

"Now, my son, you must let me talk some too."  everyone gasped as Heihachi Meishima stepped onto the balcony and 'accidentally' knocked his son off  the tallest story which caused his gruesome death.  Of course, Heihachi didn't even seem fazed.

    "Father..."  the young man hissed.

"Now, your accommodations are well taken care of and I hope they suit you well.  Until tomorrow, fare thee well!  Yahahahaha!"

That night, outside the Meishima Tekken training room...

Relena Kazama looked through the doors and at the source of all the noise.  She saw the young man, punching and kicking the living daylights out of a punching bag.  She watched in horror as rage overcame him and he broke open the punching bag, leaving the sand all over the floor.  She walked in, careful not to step on anything but then... *CREAK*  He spun around.

    "Who's there?!"

"I'm sorry.  I heard you down here and came to see what was wrong."

    "It's none of your business!"

    "It is!"

She holds out a golden locket to him and he stares at it, shock barely visible on his face.

"This was yours fifteen years ago until it was torn off your neck."

    "I'm sorry but your mistaken."

"I'm not mistaken!  This picture, it's you and your mother isn't it?"

    "I said you were mistaken!"

He hits her hand and the locket flies out of it.

"Hoe can you be so cold?!"

    "Huh?"

"Is it because your father threw you in the canyon?!"

    "What?!"

"I climbed down that slippery cliff all alone.  I tried to convince some adults to help me but they wouldn't listen!  I searched for days hoping that you were still alive and here I found out that you are fifteen years later?!"

    "You know nothing!"

    "Huh?"

He rips off his gray tank top, his large scar clearly visible, stretching from his right shoulder the the left side of his waist.

"I got this when he threw me down there!  The pain never leaves me.  I came close to losing consciousness many times while climbing that cliff but the one thing that kept me alive was my will for revenge on my father and..."

He trailed off.  She looked into those dark depths only to see the flames of hatred burning in them.

    "You can keep talking."

    "Shut-up!  I hear- GAHH!"

He grabbed something that was around his neck.  She couldn't see it until it started cutting into his neck.

    "My god!"

She looked into the rafters and saw his captor residing there, holding the other end of the strange cord holding him captive.  She threw the locket at her and she was distracted long enough for him to pull her down.

"Heero Meishima!  I have been sent here to kill you!"

    "You couldn't if you tried!"

She suddenly placed a hand to her ear and nodded her head running off into the night.

"Shit!" He hissed under his breath.

I did it again!  Sorry, no violence yet.  Nothing else yet actually.  Please e-mail me cause I don't get any feed back and please e-mail my sister too!  Thanks!
