You stand there and treat me this way.

That forever we'd always be.
Tell me, what did you mean by forever?
To me it meant we'd always be together.
And what of the love you promised?
I doubt it ever really did exist.
Forever I had said I'd always love you,
And forever is what I meant too.
How can you just throw all that aside?
Why do I feel like you always lied?
It was you I had always trusted.
After you I had always lusted.
Now I'm sitting here all alone.
I guess I should've known.
Am I supposed to hate you now?
And walk around with a permanent scowl?
Loving you isn't something I can stop.
For another emotion I cannot swap.
