| Wichita Area Urban Fishing (WAUF) is dedicated to informing residents of the Wichita, Kansas Metro Area of fishing opportunities found in their own back yards. |
| I define Urban Fishing as fishing at a pond, lake, stream, or river within the city limits of a municipality. I have located a resource listing many of the fishing opportunities within the Wichita area. I have previously fished at a couple of these locations, but there are many that I have not. In the coming year, I will attempt to fish and review each of the public fishing opportunities around Wichita. |

| 1/4/01 - January Fishing I did a little fishing today at Riggs Park. You'll find a new fishing report in the review section. I just couldn't resist the urge to fish any longer. After such a beautiful day, I left work just a little early to fish at the only community fishing hole that I knew wasn't iced over. I didn't have much luck, but something down there was taking my bait. |
