Over the centuries throughtout Europe and North America, witches were always considered evil. With their satanic beliefs, and the child and animal sacrifices, and evil spirited rituals and hexes and curses and who knows what else. Thousands of men, women, and children have been tortured, tried and executed (or lynched) for the crime of practicing "witchcraft". Having that been in books and on TV made Wiccans and Witches look bad. It gave us a terrible rep. in which sadly, many people still believe in today. Speaking of books and TV, they are not all that friendly to the Wiccan & Witch community. Everytime we have a semi-breakthrough, in having people finally believe us that Witchcraft is not evil at all... Hollywood has to come out with another stupid movie about an evil witch, and all the rest of their bull-poop lies and misconceptions, which makes those people who believed us... believe Hollywood again, and fear us. I am here to finally (once and for all) seperate the lies from the facts. So you may know the truth about Wicca and what it is REALLY about. Or if your a parent, who's child just went out and bought a book on Wicca, and now your looking for the facts.. this is the place to be.
