WOMEN'S SOCCER NEWS

The Atlanta Beat waived Canadian National Team player Amy Walsh on January 4th.  Amy came to Atlanta after being waived by Bay Area earlier in the 2001 season.  Walsh started 11 of the 15 games she appeared in for the Beat ending the season with one assist.  She suffered an ankle injury in July during a game against the US national team.

WTSN will carry the New York Power game on Saturaday April 20that 4:00 EST.
April 27th: U.S. Women vs. Finland at Spartan Stadium (San Jose, Calif.)  Live on ESPN2.
