Name: Pete

Age: 22

Location: New Zealand

Appearance: This right
here is me.

Occupation: Part time bum, part time actor, part time worker.

Biography: Raised by wolves in the wild Canterbury Plains, I was eventually torn away from my family at the age of 12 by a group of passing Selfologists. Put through religious highschool, I graduated at the ripe old age of 18. Taking a year's hiatus from the rigours of study life, I bummed around for 6 months before getting a part time job at Video Ezy where I was regularly frightened by my boss, John's, completely bizarre hissing laugh. The start of '99 saw me experimenting briefly with University Study, but upon realization that I had somehow managed to miss the first exams of the year, and also due to the fact that I didn't like University, I decided to leave. Another year of Video Ezy work and general bumming ensued before I enrolled at the Hagley Theatre Company in 2000. A year of blissful thespian learning and friend making followed. "This is great!" I thought, and dutifully enrolled for another year. After another 6 months, I started to think "Hey, this isn't great anymore", so after much soul searching I left.
I have just found a part time job and have also signed up with a talent agency. Keep reaching for those stars.....

Favourite Albums
: All Radiohead albums (excluding Pablo Honey, because apart from "Creep" it's mostly  dodgy first album styles).
'A Musical Curriculum From the Handsome Boy Modelling School' by Various (Very funky compilation album featuring many funky artists. It adds the 'hip' to the 'hop' and the 'smo' to the 'ooove' to make okay!)
'The Soundtrack to Riven' (Really relaxing ambience from the game Riven, which for those of you who haven't boned up on your nerd lessons is the sequal to the game Myst. And if you dont know what Myst is, then think frustrating slide show. I listen to this quite often while trying to sleep after a hard day at the cracker factory.)
'Beastie Boys Anthology: The Sounds of Science' by Beastie Boys ('Nuff said really. All their greatest hits on two cds. It stir frys me in it's wok. *Ahem*)
'In Sides' and 'The Middle of Nowhere' by Orbital ( Techno perfection from the english lads. I do believe both these albums thoroughly boil my onions, but i'll have to check on that.)

Favourite Movies: All the Star Wars movies....yes, even The Phantom Menace. (I love all these movies. I've seen all of them at least 15 times each, excluding TPM, which i've only seen 3 times. Big shout out to my friend Tom for being the only other person I know who likes Jar Jar Binks. *Hangs tongue out and does thumbs up, and gets thoroughly pummelled by Star Wars militants*)
'Aliens' (Possibly the all time greatest action movie ever)

'American Beauty'
(I find the story very inspirational, and there are just certain moments of acting perfection in it.)
'Magnolia' (Another actors movie. All the performances are perfect, even Tom Cruise.)
'Seven' (Dark, gritty, unnerving, and with a hell of an ending. Oh, and it has Brad Pitt in it who, I will now go on record and say, is the definitive actor of the modern era.)

And a ton of other movies that I can't even think of.

Likes: Gillian Anderson (she'll always hold a special place in my heart), all the friends I made at Theatre Company, chilling out with said friends, online video games such as Everquest "Neeeeeeerrrrrrdddddddddddddd", video games in general, Final Fantasy 7 (Best Game Ever!), wrestling, rain (especially fresh rain when everything smells all fresh and earthy), sushi, watching tennis, reading, writing, Futurama, The Simpsons, That 70s Show (Is it wrong to have erotic dreams about Donna and Eric?), all the Star Trek Series, The X-Files, Xena and various kinds of other type thingies.

Dislikes
: Video Ezy customers, clowns, doing a bad performance and knowing that you were bad, spinning the gyroscope at Science Alive, indecision, boy bands, girl bands as well but I kind of like them for aesthetic reasons, Jason Gun,  violent people, Savage Garden (they should be drawn and quartered), biting my nails, the recent preponderance of rock bands who roll their vowels, getting hit in the groin, and various other things. And Cameron Mattox.

"Game over, man!"
A faded photo of me as a child, taken just after I was found by the selfologists. I'm holding my tattered wolf man doll, who I affectionately called "Grrrrr". This doll was made by my wolf mother out of twigs and berries that she found in the forest.
