so...here's where im gonna dump all the stuff going on. sort of like where most people put their news...duh...

June 22, 2004 - jeezers, europe was amazingly cool. everything i had hoped for and more, to sound clichéd lol. venice was my favorite, however as a warning, if you're looking for a club scene, head to the mainland, venice (non-mainland) has absolutely nothing to do after like 10 pm. turkey was probably my second favorite place. everything was really pretty and the people were all really nice. some of the guys were a little creepy (i got proposed to twice) and if you don't want to be hounded, stay away from the bazaars, haha. err, athens was cool, as were the other places we went. Pompeii (it's by Naples, Italy) was amazing. It was definitely an experience, and it just got me thinking a lot. Some things there you probably shouldn't let little kids see, but it was gorgeous anyways. Plus I saw Paul Scholes (Man U!) while I was there! WOO! Barcelona was awesome, I wish we had had more time there though. We stayed on a street called La Rambla, which is one of the main streets there. Huge clubbing area around there and TONS of shops. There's people that dress up like statues and stand there all day long hoping people will give them spare euros and stuff like that. I saw two guys bicycles that were painted like copper statues and I totally thought it was a statue until i saw the hat for money in front of them. i didn't have any change, but if i had, any that i did have would have been in that hat faster than you can say "BANG!" ;-) And sorry to Dianna, as I didn't get the chance to have a root beer barrel or root beer flavored popsicle while I was in Europe. :-( I had a gummy coke bottle, if that means anything. Anyways, I'm done rambling. Adios. Oh btw, dashboard confessional concert was AWESOME. i wanna do it again! :-D

May 23, 2004 - wow. SUMMER! can we say "amy is a senior"? well, i can, and thats all I freaking care about. I'm a SENIOR! yay!! oooh....exams were definitely tougher than i expected, but you had the blow off ones too, so it was good. So school got out friday (the 21st) at 1:15. I was back at school by 3:30 and didn't leave until 10:45. Saturday (yesterday) I was at school at 3 and didn't leave until 11. isn't that crazy? it's summer! i'm not supposed to be at school!! And i gotta go back monday from 12:30 to around 10 and tuesday from 4:30 to around 10. ahhhh!!! oh well, it's for some tech thing - people who rent out our theatre, so we're getting paid ten dollars an hour, which makes it worth it. Err....let's see. I'm leaving for Europe on Wednesday, so I'll be gone until June 10th. June 11th, me and Michael are going to see Dashboard Confessional, and then June 12th is another dallas Burn game. Sunday I bet i'm gonna sleep until like 5 pm, LOL. Well, I am SO excited to be going to Europe, lemme tell you....haha. Oh yeah, I went to see Ben Kweller/Death Cab for Cutie/Centro-Matic on April 26th, and it was amazing. I had some doubts about death cab, because one of my friends had seen them live and he said they really sucked, and we have pretty much the same taste in music so i thought i might not like them, but they were awesome. ben kweller ruled live, and he was so nice too. someone threw a booklet up on stage and he caught it and he turns it over and reads the front page and it's like "please please please let me come up on stage and get a picture with you." so he goes "who threw this up?" and i bet he found them after the concert, but just the way he said that was hilarious, i was laughing so hard. plus they almost nailed him in the face with that booklet, which would have sucked, lol. after the concert, me and Rossilyn (she came with me) stuck around and we met one of the guitarists from Centro-Matic, and he was really nice, and we also met the drummer for Ben Kweller. He was super nice too. Anyways, i think that's about it. I'm off. Adios.

April 4, 2004 - yeah, i know...ages since i updated. actually that's not true, i've been adding to my Joined page and to the Music page, just haven't gotten over here lately, lol. Let's see. I didn't go to the Mae concert because it was the same night as the Royales show and I had to work for that and then stay after to help take down lights and stuff. it was fun, actually. The Travis concert? Well, all i can say about that is wow. i mean, there's nothing else to say to describe it. it was that good. Crazy....I can't wait til they come again. I'm getting there earlier so I can get right up front. Um...I'm going to see Death Cab for Cutie and Ben Kweller on April 26th. for some reason, i think i have something planned April 28th. A concert maybe? argh....i can't remember! *sigh* I'll figure it out eventually. Well, I went to the Dallas Burn home opener last night. It was really good to be back at the Cotton Bowl. They tied Colorado 1-1, but it should have been a 2-1 win for us, since we scored like twenty minutes in, but the stupid ass ref insisted Eddie Johnson was offside (which he was) so that the goal couldn't be good. Um. Not true. Offside rule on a goal is that the player (i.e. Eddie) can be offside as long as they're not interfering with the run of play (which he wasn't). So, using our Sherlock Holmes-like sense of deduction, the play was good, meaning the goal was good. W/E. we tied, its cool. anyhow i gotta run, but adios to you all. smile on.

February 1, 2004 - wow...lots of stuff since the last time i posted. If you've been coming here at all you'll have noticed that I have been changing/adding stuff, just not putting up new things. Anyways, Student Directed One Act's were on Friday night. YAY! Our play got second. Amanda's play won, as it should have. It was amazing. Of course, I was doing spotlight for the last...oh...three seconds. *grins* no really...Michael and Jenn and Kaitlan were perfect for their parts. The emotion that Michael conveyed just with four words: "I made a mistake!!" was incredible. I was all the way back in the spotlight booth and I was blown away by the talent in that play. Wow. Just wow. Lauren Ball's and Seta's play's were....okay. Let's say that I didn't enjoy sitting through them, but I'm sure there have been worse. And no, I don't care to find out if there have been. Well, you should definitely read the xanga entry i posted yesterday HERE. Interesting. Some of you may know of whom I refer to, but for those of you who don't, let's keep it that way. I'm not really mad at them, just sad that they could act that way and not feel anything. Not feel like they're being rude, or doing anything wrong. I personally could never act that way without feeling horribly guilty. Anyways, enough about that. And in case you couldn't tell, I'm feeling particularly bitter right now. LOL. So I posted some new funny stuff and updated my music/playlist. TRAVIS COUNTDOWN: 4 DAYS! New concert alert! I'm going to see Mae @ the Wreck Room in Ft. Worth on Feb 21st. So, MAE COUNTDOWN: 20 DAYS. Alright. I'm off. Adios!
