Nick's 1990 Eagle Talon TSi FWD
Nick's DSM Page

You have just stumbled across my first web page. It is strictly devoted to my old car, my 1990 Eagle Talon Tsi fwd. If you looked at the pictures of it already, you saw that it was wrecked and a total loss. I crashed it on September 7, 2002 at about six o'clock in the morning. A lady (who blew .05)ran a light in her Grand Am and creamed me at about 50 miles per hour.

The other pictures are of my car in various stages. The car was completely stock with 116K on it and 6K on the motor when I got it. I put Sprint springs on it, Enkei 16x7 RP-02's with BFGoodrich Comp T/A's, did a lot of painting (brakes, trim, suspension, undercarriage, heat shields, etc.) and then had the body painted all black.
As far as aftermarket parts go, I had a lot of plans but only did a little:
K&N w/ open airbox
MAS modification
DejonTool intake
custom upper and lower intercooler pipes
ported stock 14B
ported O2 housing and exhaust manifold
2.5" exhaust from downpipe back
Magnecor wires and NGK plugs
VDO boost gauge
custom white face gauges
Pioneer CD with all Pioneer speakers
MOMO shift knob
some carbon fiber inside
PILOT fog lights

The car ran good at 175,000 miles but the turbo was spooling up slow due to what I believe was some bad porting (by me). From a 25 mile/hour start it stayed door to door with my friend's 250 hp supercharged 1997 Grand Prix GTP. That's not too bad for no boost controller (12-14 psi) and a lot of turbo lag.

I drive a nice reliable, very unassuming 2000 Hyundai Elantra now, but I'm seriously thinking about getting another DSM. So maybe someday my page will have some pictures of another car.

Nick and I recently got another DSM. A 1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD, minus the transmission. It is currently sitting in Nick's backyard taking up space. We currently lack the resources needed to get it up and running. There will be new information and pictures soon.
