A little about me and my thoughts
It seem growing up in the sixties the times was more peaceful  then they are now. Back then you never hear of a kid going too school and killing theirs class mates. Now days its seem you can't turn on the news without hearing of some unbelievable killing that you would never even dreams of happening back then. Its sad how some peoples disrespect life today, it like that they don't realize that we only live for a short time and when we gone there no coming back. I guess some peopls now days are so selfcentered that they can't care about others or for tomorrow.
Yes I do think in many ways sixties was a easier times to live unless you was born with a disability like CP (cerebral palsy) like I was. It seem back then lot peoples feels that people with CP didn't have any real future in the real world. I may have been the first one who have CP that went to public school, theirs attitude then was to pass me through school even if I learn anything or not since  I was disable and probity would not have any kind of life on my own (great attitude)  Luckly I also had a tutor then too, since not being able to speech or write well, I leared more from her by her working with me one on one ( and by her attitude that I did have a life to live and was not a waste of time to teach) than I did in school.

It amazing how a person can be on drugs and  be accept in society as long they look so call normal as where a person with a disability, who may not look picture  perfect, are look down upon.
I sure everyone heard the saying that you can't tell a book by it cover but I wonder  how many know the meaning behind it
Some of the things I like to do is play on the computer, gardening and woodwork. It has been some  time since I did any woodwork but in the passed I have paneled my living room, put cabinets in kitchen, hey I no Bob  Vila's but than again who is (grin)
I have a garden about every year where I grow vegetables like squash, peppers and tomatoes. Seem you just can't buy vegetables that taste as good like when they are right out of the garden.
Computers is one thing I wish was around when I was growing up. They are great for getting information and meeting peoples all over the world with out even leaving your house, Of course you have to be careful on the internet as you do any where else, after all the net is just part of the world with all it good and bad.
In my four years on line I been lucky by meeting more good people than joker ( joker is what I think of them who are in to head  games and/or try to be someone they not) I believe there a reason in life for everything, even joker, it just hard at time to see what the reason is.

Well think that enough about me for now (if not to much grin) thanks for taking the time to read my page
