  • What types of fanfics will you accept?

Anything as long as it relates to GH somehow, we will accept. Right now, we only have a few categories, but if there are couples you'd like to write about that we don't have right now, feel free to, and we'll make a page dedicated to them. Specifically, I have gotten requests for some Jax and Alexis fics, so all you writers, get crackin'! Luke and Laura, Sonny and Brenda, Jax and Brenda...heck, even Laura and Stefan and Lucky and Emily ones I'll post here (as long as I don't have to read them myself. Heck, I can still be a biased fan, can't I? ;-) I've even read some awesome fics centered around author-created characters. So to put it succinctly, anything goes!

  • How long does it have to be?

It's up to you. It can be a short one-parter, or if can have hundreds of chapters. You can choose to send us the whole completed fic when you have it done, or a chapter at a time as you finish them. I only ask that you don't leave us readers hanging for too long with no updates. :)

  • My fanfic contains adult language and/or content. Will you accept it?

Like I said before, we accept everything. We leave the reader warnings and such to the discretion of the author. So please be responsible and alert readers to anything that may possibly offend them by reading your fanfic.

  • Will you please correct my spelling and grammar?

No. Use spellcheck, peoples! We don't have the time to go through and correct all your mistakes, so whatever you send us will be posted as is.

  • I wrote it in MSWord or Notepad; can I send you the file?

Yes. You can send us regular text in the email or attachments. Please don't get too fancy with the fonts and colors though. All fics will be posted in the same fashion on our site so unless your fic warrants special formatting due to the way it is written, it will be like the rest of the fics on this site. So don't bother making it all fancy in the attachments you send us. Simple and easy to read is all we ask for.

  • Can I have my fanfic posted on other websites, message boards, and mailing lists?

Sure, no problem. No exclusivity here. If you like, you can send us a link to a specific fic also, and we'll post it in our fanfic indexes. Or if you have a link to a more general fanfic site, we'll include it in our links page.

  • What format should I sent it in?

Simple and easy to read. Please separate paragraphs clearly by having a blank line or indentation between new paragraphs. Make sure you wrap your words so that it's not just one long streaming line of text.

  • Why should I post my fanfic here?

We're an ambitious duo. :) We have lots of plans for new and exciting features for this site including a neato format for story descriptions, a feedback form linked to every story we have posted here thus making it easier for readers to send authors comments and feedback (we know how you writers love that stuff ;-), periodic quizzes and polls, forums to discuss fics and this site in general, etc, etc, etc. And we also try to update the site quite often so there's always something new for our readers.

  • Where do I send my fanfic?

Send all submissions, inquiries, and comments to whitedove_525@yahoo.com.

Or to contact us at our personal addresses for faster response, email Tracy at tshao@uclink4.berkeley.edu, and Vivien at greenpajamas@chickmail.com.
