The three of them stand in silence as Nikolas cant believe what he is seeing,
 The brother he thought he had lost forever is now standing right in front of
him very much alive.

Lucky:  You might want to pick your jaw up

Liz:  I'll leave you two alone (turns to Lucky)  see you soon (she leaves)

Nik:  Wait....But......How......when......where....ok breathe....How the hell?

Lucky:  you always did ask so many questions

There are no words between the brothers as Nikolas reaches out to Lucky and
hugs him for the very first time.  Lucky hugs him back

Nik:  Are you really here

Lucky:  well that seems to be the question of he day.  So once agan yes I am
here, I am alive, I was never in the fire.

Nik:  Wow!

Lucky told Nikolas as much as he could about his.  Before they both knew it
over an hour had passed.

Lucky:  oh wow i did not realize the time.  I have to go pick up Elizabeth.
She is coming with me to the police station and then we are going to spend
some time together alone.

Nik:  That sounds nice.  I am so glad you found your way back to her, she has
been lost with out you.

Lucky:  And me without her.  Umm....Listen thanks for taking care of her
while I was gone

Nik:  No probalem...and Lucky....welcome home

Lucky:  thanks man

The two brother hug again and Nikolas leaves.  Lucky goes upstairs to his rom
and packs some things in a bag.  He leaves a note for him parents telling
them where he and Elizabeth are going and then he heads to Elizabeth's house.

CHAPTER 20

When Lucky arrives at Liz's house he goes up to her front door, but before he
rings the bell he decides to do somethig else.  Lucky climbs up to Liz's
window.  When he gets there is it wide open.  Liz was in her room finishing
packing.

Lucky: (sitting outside the window)  Hey

Liz quickly turns around and sees Lucky sitting outside her window and all
she can do is smile.

Liz:  Now there is something I never thought I'd see again

Lucky comes through the window and walks over to Liz.  He takes her in his
arms and kisses her full on the mouth.

Lucky:  I missed you

Liz:  you just saw me two hours ago

Lucky:  yes but I have been away from you for so long that now I dont want to
spend one minute apart let alone two hours.

Liz:  well i missed you to and I feel the same way (she kisses him again)

Lucky:  you about ready

Liz:  yeah all set

Lucky grabs Liz's bag and they leave her house and head over to the police
station so Lucky can give his account on what happened to him.

CHAPTER 21

Liz and Lucky arrive at the police station and go over to the desk clerk.

Lucky:  Hi I'm Lucky Spencer, Commissioner Scorpio is expecting me

The desk clerk calls Mac in his office and lets him know Lucky was there.  A
few minutes later Mac comes out of his office.

Mac:  Lucky, How are you?

Lucky:  I'm ok.  I just want this whole thing over with once and for all

Mac:  I know and it will be.  Lets go in my office so I can get your
statement.  Miss Webber would you mind waiting out here?

Lucky:  No! Mac can she please come with me?  I dont think I can do this
without her and she needs to hear this to.

Mac:  Ok sure.  This way

Mac, Liz, and Lucky enter Mac's office.  Mac sits at his desk and Liz and
Lucky sit accross form him.  Mac gets out his tape recorder.

Mac:  Ok Lucky.  Tell me what happened on April 16, 1999 between 10:30pm and
12:30am?

Lucky took a deep breath and then held his hand out to Elizabeth.  She
grabbed his hand and gently squeezed it and mouth the words I love you to him.

Lucky:  Umm...I got back to my room form Elizabeth's house at 10:45.  I got
changed and ready for bed.  I could not sleep so at around 11:15 I called
Elizabeth to say good night.  As we were talking..... I lit some candles.  We
were only on the phone for five minutes.  After I hung up with her I....I
remembered thinking how much I was lookinf forward to tomorrow because
Elizabeth and I were going to meet for breakfast at Kelly's at 7:30.  So I
closed my eyes for just a second and then I heard a noise.  It was coming
from outside my door.  I sat up in bed and......

Mac:  its ok, take your time

Lucky: (liz rubs his habd using her thumb) These three men came busting
through my door and before I could say anything two of the men grabbed me and
held me in a way that I could not move.  I tried but there was no way.  I
couln't say anything because the other man had a gun pointed at me. (Liz
starts to cry) The man with the gun stood infront of me and kicked me in the
stomach knocking the wind out of me.  The two men stood me back up and the
third man reached inside my shirt and pulled out the sunway token that
Elizabeth gave me just a couple weeks before.  He ripped it off my neck.  I
was in so much pain but feeling that being ripped away from me was the worst
pain. (tears in his eyes) The two men that were holding me dragged me out to
the car while the other man stayed in my room.  That is all I remeber because
they must have gived me chlorophorm because the next thing I remember was
waking up in this cold room no knowing where I was.

Mac:  So you did not see them bring in a body and place it in your bed and
you did not see the fire start?

Lucky:  No.  I didn't know who's body that was and I did not know there was
fire or that everyone thought I was dead until the day of my memorial
service.  That was the day I first met Fasion

Lucky proceeded to tell Liz and Mac about thre last three months.  He tol
them about the videos Fasion showed him of Liz at the memorial service and
about the chess matches.  Lucky told them about everything that happened in
that room up until the time Luke came in the room.

It was almost two hours later when Lucky finished giving his statement and
answering Mac's questions.  The last thing Lucky had to do was point Fasion
out in a line up.  Liz also went with him for that.  Once Lucky pointed him
out Liz just staired at Fasion.  Seeing for the first time the man that
caused Lucky and everyone he loved so much pain.

Lucky finished up and he and Liz finally left the station.

CHAPTER 22

A little while later Liz and Lucky arrived at thr Port Charles Hotel.  Lucky
told Liz he wanted to stay close to home but far enough away where they would
not be disturbed.

Once in the room there was a little bit of silence.  Lucky walked over to the
window.  Liz hesitated but then walked over to him.  She rapped her arms
around him.

Liz:  are you ok?

Lucky: (turns to her) I will be as long as I am with you

Liz: (smiles)  well i am not going anywhere.  I know that must have been
difficult for you to relive what happened to you.

Lucky:  Yeah a little

Liz:  Lucky I am so sorry you had to go through all of that.

Lucky:  thanks, but I am ok now and I am only going to get better.
Especially with you here by my side.

Liz takes Lucky's hand and leads him to the bed where the sit at the end of
it.

Liz:  I guess since I know about what happened to you, i should tell you
about my last three months

Lucky:  Ok but only if you want to.

Liz:  well...I did not want to believe it.  I got up that night after a dream
that I had and I wanted to call you but there was a recording that said you
phone was out of service.  So I got dressed and headed to the bike shop.  As
I.... got closer I.... could smell the smoke and hear the sirens.  When I got
there the whole building was up in flames and I couldn't find you.  (both
crying)  I started screaming for you and Lt. Taggert held be back.  They they
braught the body out and I kept saying it wasen't you.....but then Taggert
showed me the subway token and he told me it was founf on the body.  I feel
to my knees in tears.......and I knew it was true.  (crying harder)  I gave a
euligy at your memorial service and all I could think of to say was that you
saved my life and it wasen't right that you were gome.  (Lucky takes her hand
in his)  I went back to school and to work and I tried not to think about it
but it did not work.  About a months later I got my Sub missions back from
the art acadmy and.....

Lucky:  you go it

Liz:  you always knew I would.  When i got the package I staired at your
portriat and traced your face with my finger.  I knew I could not go to New
York alone.  That was our dream and I could not go without you.  So I
deferred admission for a year.  I have been so lost without you Lucky.
Everyone tried to help me get through it, I got real close with your parents,
but all I wanted was you.

Lucky:  I'm here now Elizabeth and I am so sorry

Lucky takes Liz in his arms and holds her her close to him.  After a few
minutes they oull apart and look into each oher's eyes.

Liz:  Umm......I'm going to go in the bathroom and take a shower.  I'll be
out in a few minutes.

Lucky:  Ok I'll be here

CHAPTER 23

Liz got up from the bed and grabbed her bag.  She went into the bathroom and
got in the shower.  Lucky changed into sweat pants and a T shirt.  he got
himself ready for bed in his usual place.

About 20 minutes later Liz came out of the bathroom, her hair was down, but
still wet and she was wearing a silk purple cammasol with matching shorts.
When she got out of the baithroom she did not see Lucky.

Liz:  Lucky?

Lucky: ( say up from the floor on the other side of the bed)  I'm right here

Liz smiled at him and walked over to him.  He was completely taken by her
appearence and had to look away from her to catch his breath.  Liz kneeled
down beside him on the floor.

Liz:  Lucky.......what are you doing on the floor?

Lucky:  Well I took the floor and you can have the bed like always

Liz:  well that is very sweet of you, but would you mnd sharing the bed with
me this time?

Lucky:  Are you sure?

Liz:  I'm sure, I need to feel you close to me.  I want to feel your arms
around me and besides the bed is much to big for me to sleep in it
alone....come on.

With that Liz and Lucky helped each other to thier feet and Liz went over to
the king sze bed and turned the sheets down.  She climbed into the bed and
Lucky was still standing on the side of the bed.

Liz:  Lucky its ok

Liz extended her hand to Lucky and he took it.  She pulls him on the bed next
to her.  The both settle down with hier heads on the fluffy pillows.  Lucky
lays behind Liz and puts his arms around her.  He burries his face in her wet
hair, smelling her and feeling her soft skin up against him.

Liz:  I love you

Lucky:  i love you to

Liz then shifts her body so that she is now on her back.  Lucky is still on
his side with his hand resting on her stomach.  Lucky lowers his lips to meet
hers and he kisses her very passionatly.  Liz runs her hand through his hair
and then down his back.  Lucky is careful not to put his hands anywhere she
might not be ready for them to be.  Liz breaks the kiss.

Liz:  Can I tell you something?

Lucky:  sure.

Liz:  A few weeks ago, Bobbie came to see me at Kelly's to tell me that I was
over due for my third HIV test.

Lucky:  thats right, did you take the test?

Liz:  yeah about a week ago and its fine.

Lucky:  good

Liz:  Bobbie told me that when I went for the test that I would have to
answer some questions about my sexual activity since the last test. (Lucky
looks away from her from a second and then looks back at her)  Of course I
told Bobbie that there wasen't any because you and I decided to wait.  I told
her that I did not think we made the wrong decision at the time, but what I
did not realize then that is was going to be our only chnace.  I told her how
much I wanted you to be my real first (crying) and that now it was never
going to happen.

Lucky:  Oh Elizabeth

Liz:  (Puts her hand up to Lucky's cheek) Lucky we have a seconf chance to be
each other's firsts and I dont want to pass it up again.  I love you and I
guess what I am trying to say is I am ready to make love to you.....if you
are ready.

Lucky:  Elizabeth.....i thought about the same thing when I was away and
there is nothing I want more than to make love to you right now, but.....are
you really sure Elizabeth because it is still okay if you're not.

Liz: ( she brings his face to hers and kisses him) Make love to me Lucky

CHAPTER 24

Lucky lowered himself down on Liz and kissed her with such passion and such
desire that they both long for what is about to happen.

Liz tuggs on Lucky's shirt, but insread of stopping her like he did before,
he helps her life it over his head.

Liz:  wait a minture

Lucky:  It ok really we dont......

Liz:  no its not that, I just have to get something

Liz gets up from the bed and goes to her bag.  She pulls out two things and
rejoins Lucky on the bed.

Liz:  Lt. Taggert gave this back to be after the fire.  I tried to clean it
up as much as I could.  I want to it to go back to where it belongs. (she
showes him the subway token)

Lucky: (he smiles)  I missed that so much, will you put it on me.

Liz puts the necklace around Lucky's neck and she puts her hand over the
token on his bare chest.  She can feels bolts of electricity go through her
finger tips.

Lucky:  what else do you have?

Liz:  Just this

She hands him a condom and he smiles as he takes it from her.  He sets it
down on the night table until he ready for it.

Lucky turns back to Liz and kisses her again.  Then moving from her lips he
finds the sensitive spot on her neck.  His hand runs down her side and then
up her silk cammy.  He cups her breat with his hand feeling the soft and
delicate skin that he dreamed about so many times.

Lucky leans back down and kisses her, he then takes her hand and brings her
to her his knees as he gets on his.  The kneel on the bed infront of each
other.  Liz raises her arms above her head and Lucky reaches down to her
cammy and pulls it up over her head and then brings her close to him kissing
her and feeling her chest up against his.  Both can feel the heat that
occured once thier bodies touched.  He cups both od her breasts feeling her
an tasting her.  Liz runs her hands rapidly up and down Lucky's back and then
she makes her way to his jeans.  She helps him remove them and discard them
on the floor. Lucky then places his hands on her hips and then lowers her
shorts down and removes them.  Lucky them puts his arms around her and lowers
her back down on the bed.  Lucky turns around to the night table and grabbs
the condom.

There's nothing I can do

Lucky puts the condom on and he is scared.  He does not want to hurt Liz and
he is affraid she will be frightened by his touch.  Lucky takes a deep breath
and slowly and tenderly enters Liz.  She gasps as he does holding on to him.
Lucky looks in her eyes and he does not see fear, he sees nothing but love.

CHAPTER 25

After it is over Lucky is laying on his back and liz is resting her head on
his chest right over his heart as her hands wonder his chest.

Liz:  It feels so good to hear your heart beat again

Lucky smiles and lifts her head and pulls her too him for a deep kiss.  He
then brushed her hair away from her eyes.

Lucky:  I love you so much Elizabeth

Liz:  I love you to Lucky.  Thank you for making this night everything I
dreamed it to be.  A dream (her eyes fill with tears)  Oh lucky please tell
me that this wasen't a dream.  Please

Lucky:  hey, Listen to me,  This is NOT a dream.  I promise, I'm here, we are
here together and no one and nothing is going to take us away from each other
ever again.

Liz:  I never want to lose you again, I cant

Lucky:  You wont.....never again

Lucky kisses Liz's tears away and pulls her back to him and holds her close
to him making her feel secure and safe.

Liz:  I am so glad that this happened and you were my first, I nver wanted it
to be with anyone else.

Lucky:  me too and I am glad you were mine.

Lucky and Liz kiss with so much passion and desire for each other.  Soon
afterwards they fall asleep in each other's arms.

CHAPTER 26

Liz wakes up in the middle of the night and reaches for Lucky but he is not
there.  She bolts out of bed and sees hin standing back over by the window in
only his jeans.  Liz takes the sheet from the bed and rapps it around herself
and then walks over to Lucky.

Liz:  What are you doing over here?  (She runs her hand up his back)

Lucky:  I couldn't sleep

Liz:  why didn't you wake me?

Lucky:  you looked so peacful, I did not want to wake you

Liz:  Do you want to talk about it?

Lucky:  I just have a lot on my mind, I mean with all that has happened in
the last 48 hours.  Being Fasion's prisioner, being rescued by my dad, seeing
my mom again, being home, seeing Nikolas, giving Mac my statement, the line
up, and finding you again, and us here together tonight and making love for
the first time.  I am just trying to absorb all of it.  I mean I never
thought I would get out of that room alive let alone be here with you like
this. I never thought I would hold you again or even get the chance to make
love to you.  And....well now that I am home and I am here with you.....I
just want to savor each moment.  And I dont want to close my eyes cause I
dont want to miss anything and I dont want to waiste any time I share with
you.

Liz:  Lucky.....you're home and you're here stay.  We are not going to waiste
any of our time together because we now realize how scared every minute we
share is.  Don't be scared to close your eyes because I promise that I will
be here when you open them again.

Lucky:  (Hugs her) How did I get so lucky to have you?

Liz:  I think it's in the name. (they laugh)  Can I temp you into.... coming
back to bed with me?

Lucky:  Nope.......well maybe.......Ok

Lucky scoops Liz up in his arms.  He walks back over to the bed and gently
lays her down on it.  Before he gets in, he removes his jeans, and then he
gets in bed with Liz.

*THE NEXT MORNING*

Lucky is the first to wake up and he turns over to Liz who is sleeping on her
stomach.  Lucky rubs her naken back with his warm hand.  He makes her way to
her side and tries to tickle her.  Liz wakes up but tries to stay still and
not laugh.  Lucky gets frustrated and he tickles her more.  This time Liz
can't hold it in any longer.  She lets out a giggle.

Liz:  ok ok I'm up

Lucky:  took you long enough

Liz turns around to her back and Lucky kisses her.  While still kissing him,
Liz gets on top of him.  She stadddles him while still kissing him.  She puts
her hands on his face and then moves down to his shoulders as she deepens the
kiss.  She moves her hand down to his sides and tickles him with all of her
might.  Lucky jumps and breaks the kiss

Lucky:  hey that's not fair

Liz:  Oh and tickling me out of my sleep is fair....I dont think so

Lucky:  I'm sorry (he smiles) forgive me?

Liz:  well.....I guess so. when you smile at me like that how can I not.

She leans back down to kiss him and then Lucky sits up with her now in his
lap.  With one swift move he flipps her over on her back so that now he is on
top of her.  They both have the same idea and make love again.

CHAPTER 27

Lucky:  we have to be getting home

Liz: mmm do we have to?

Lucky:  afraid so, As much as I would love to stay in this bed with you
forever, we really should go.  How about breakfast at.....

Liz:  Tiffany's

Lucky:  (laughs)  very cute, but we will have to settle for breakfast at
Kelly's

Liz:  Oh ok fine,  I am going to take a shower.

Liz gets up from bed and goes into the bathroom and takes a shower.  She
comes ouit of the bathroom and Lucky goes in to take his shower.  They pack
up their things and head home.

They go to Lucky's house and they find Luke sitting on the couch.

Lucky:  you know for someone who does not live here anymore you sure are here
a lot.

Luke:  (stand up)  well cowboy welocme home again.  I am assuming that things
are okay between you two?

Liz:  things are more than ok

Luke:  well good I am glad, if anyone diserves to be happy, it is you two by
far.

Lucky:  thanks dad

Luke:  so where did you two go?  Your note said you were going somewhere to
be alone and talk.

Lucky:  Oh...well....umm..we went...we went to the PC hotel.

Liz was shocked that Lucky just told his father that.

Luke:  Well I am guessing you didn't get much talking done.

Lucky:  DAD! (both Liz and Lucky's faces are beet red)

Luke:  Sorry.

Liz:  I am going to get home so I can see Gram before she goes to work.
(turns to Lucky) See you later (she kisses him softly on the lips)

Lucky:  Ok  (she leaves)

Liz leaves and Luke looks as Lucky

Luke:  well wasen't that cute

Lucky:  what?

Luke:  Ok son fess up, what happened last night between you.... and Miss
Webber?
 

CHAPTER 28

Luke's question stunned Lucky and it showed.  Lucky began to fidget and Luke
picked up at it right away.

Lucky:  I have......no idea what you're talking about Dad.

Luke:  Come on cowboy.  I was born at night, but is wasen't last night.  I
mean you were taken away from the girl you love for three long months and
then you are reunited.  So last night you spend the night with her in a hotel
room all alone, just the two of you, and you're going to stand there and tell
me that all you did was talk?

Lucky:  YEAH!.....Look dad what do you want me to say?  Do you want me to
tell you if Elizabeth.....and.......I....well......umm....Dad what do you
want from me

Luke:  Ok Ok fine you dont have to tell me.  I mean you are intitled to  your
privacy when it comes to your girlfriend and what you do with her...talk
or....whatever.  Besides you dont have to say it......it is written all over
your face.  Just tell me one thing.  This conversation that you had,  was it
a safe one?

Lucky:  (takes a deep breath) Yes dad it was Ok!

Luke:  you dog

Lucky:  That it I'm outta here.

Luke laughs as Lucky heads for the door.  As he about to open it, Laura comes
through the door.

Lucky:  Hi Mom

Laura:  Oh hey you're back.  How was your night?  Did you and Liz get a
chance to talk?

Luke:  Oh yeah....... they communicated alright.

Lucky: (Looks at Luke in an angry way) Oh man I'm leaving.  I'm going to
Elizabeth's and then we are going to Kelly's.

Luke:  to have another conversation

Lucky looks at his father again and leaves, slamming the door behind him.

Laura:  what was that all about?

CHAPTER 29

Luke:  Well it seems like our little Cowboy isen't so little anymore, as we
already knew.

Laura:  Luke what are you talking about?  o f course he is not a little boy
anymore.

Luke:  Laura.....it appears that our son and Liz have taken a big step in
their relationship last night.

Laura:  what step?

Luke:  Wake up Laura  They spent the night night last night at
the...Port....Charles....Hotel.

Laura:  No you're not saying they......

Luke:  Bingo!  Lucky says they just talked but I highly doubt that.

Laura:  Oh Luke, they're so young

Luke: Now Laura, look,  Lucky has been through a lot in his life, especially
in the last three months.  Most kids his age haven't even been up state.  But
Lucky however has been out of state, cross country, out of the country,
travled alone at age 11, was shot,  found out he had a half brother, was with
Liz through her rape, found out I raped you, bitten by the love bug, and now
was kidnapped.  Laura he has ben through so much and he is wise beyound his
years.  He really loves Elizabeth and I know she loves him.  She was so lost
without him and the first thing he asked me when I found him was how is
Elizabeth.  They are really in love, they have what the whole wrold is
looking for.  I guess it just seemed natural to them.  Making Love is what
people in love do and they have been apart for so long.  I trust our son
Laura to do the right thing by himself.... and Liz.  He assured me they were
playing it safe.  Lucky is all grown up....now.... more than ever.

Laura:  ( deep breath) You're right.  I trust him completely.  He is all
grown up and he knows what is right for him.

Luke:  Man where did the time go?  I have to get going.

Laura:  Ok I'll see later

Luke:  Bye

Luke leaves and Laura goes over to the mantel and picks up a picture of Lucky
from when he was little.

Laura:  No matter how old you get and no matter what you do, you will always
be my baby.

CHAPTER 30

Lucky made it to Liz's house after Audrey had already left for the hospital.
They're in her room just laying on her bed holding each other.  Lucky is on
his back and Liz is resting her head on his chest.  They are just enjoying
their time together.

Liz:  your father knows......doesn't he?

Lucky: (laughs)  Yeah....he does

Liz:  Oh god

Lucky:  Don't worry, he's cool....and he trusts me

Liz:  well that makes two of us.

Liz raises hersefl so she is completly on top of Lucky.  He puts his arms
around her back and then Liz lowers her face to his and they kiss passionatly

Liz:  Gram wont be home until later tonight.  So do you want to prove your
father right again?

Lucky:  well what about breakfast?

Liz:  trust me....I'll satisfy your appitite.

Lucky:  Oh well then (he kisses her then she pulls away)

Liz:  oh and Lucky.....In case I haven't said it......welcome home

Lucky:  Thanks.  Home....it's a nice place to be and being here with you
really feels like home.  (They kiss again)
