WOMB-LP 92.9 IS NOW WGCP-LP 92.9
After months of deliberation and conversation, the board of directors of Octave Communications Association ( Our Partent Organization) deemed that now is the time to make a move to expand our coverage and quality of programming. Thanks to the generous support of area residents during previous fund drives and from local merchants, WGCP is now in a position to really take action with the commuunity of Lanchester. A Application for Modification to the original Construction Permit has been filed and accepted by the FCC to relocate the transmitting and studio facilities to the same location.

THANK YOU
Thanks to the endless hours of help you and everyone in the communnity have spent, doing work for/ with the station WGCP is Lanchester's First and ONLY radio station that keeps on top of the various happenings.

PUBLIC NOTICE
WGCP-LP 92.9 will officially change the CALLSIGN today ( March 25, 2004).

IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR DJ's?
Yes, you have been hearing endless loops of "The Beatles- Here Comes The Sun" since 9:PM yesterday. There is a reason for this. When we put this station in high gear on Monday you may pinch yourself a couple times. You may not think our area is worthy of such great coverage and entertainment. Well rest assured that each and everyone of the residents and merchants in Lanchester are more than worthy of a communication medium in our backyards. There is way too much that goes on for all of us to keep up with it all. We  want to bring you everything that effects your life here in Lanchester. From public services and groups who are working to make your life better, to the endless great community functions that are ongoing throughout the year, let us be your #1 for Information, Communnity, Culture, Education and the Arts. We're your Lanchester 93 FM.

Here comes the sun is our way of saying, there is so much more on it's way to you. We know you are used to the way area news and events are reported. We see and hear these stations and networks too. We came to the conclusion that there is NO station in our entire area that is not controled by a out-of-state operator. The information you get is not the full story. It's alright... here comes the sun, a wealth of knowledge awaits you twenty-four hours a day on 92.9 Megaherts. It's alright, here comes the sun.
