Welcome

"The living knew themselves just sentient puppets on God's stage."
(T.E. Lawrence)

I am an old, overweight truck driver who cannot hold a job, has no money, and lives alone. I keep a sense of humor about it, always doing the best I can do. Which isn't much. Hopefully, things will get better. I can never be sure because life is out of my control. My future lays in god's hands.

I really cannot describe my god, that is to put a face on god. It is actually much easier to say what god isn't. My god is not an aged and wise Anglo-Saxon man with a stern face, flowing hair and beard, speaking in a deep ethereal voice. God is not a woman doing a better job of it than any man god ever could. Nor is god the neighbor's cat. I think of my god as energy created between two or more sentient beings. As if we are atoms with free electrons encircling us. Joining with others we share electrons, and spiritual energy flows, much like electricity.

This created energy is my god.

But does it really matter how I define god? God is omnipotent, having infinite responsibility and authority in the universe. Class and category like age and gender have no meaning when describing god.

God transcends the tragic human condition.
