Memo For Visitors

"Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family.  Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one."

When I began this genealogical research project, never had I imagined I would be confronted with such an overwhelming, hard to tame volume of information about our family's history.  It is truly amazing that so much information is available about our ancestors, our relatives and our background.

With that said, it is absolutely impossible to know every detail about every person that descends from ancestors.  Because of the sheer amount of people our family encompasses, the information we collect is never complete.  There is still something, however big or little, missing from the big picture, even after years of day and night research.

Because it is impossible for one person to gather every detail about hundreds, it is necessary to ask for your help to keep our information up to date, accurate and complete.  With your help to add items such as births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions and anything else you can possibly think of, we can make this database of Wevodau family information immense.

Without your help though, I am one person trying to conquer the world.  After visiting the site and browsing through the insane amount of material here, please take two minutes to write and e-mail and share some important information with the rest of the family.  We may be separated by hundreds of miles, but we're all family.  And this website cannot exist if we gain no new information.

The primary purpose of this website is to share with the Wevodau family, worldwide, their origins and ancestors and to connect people who are related to one another.  Please take time to add to this incredible project.

Information such as births, adoptions, deaths, marriages, divorces, photographs, letters, military documents and anything else that you would like to add will be accepted through both e-mail and U.S. mail.  Please see the "About The Author" page for information about submitting information both ways.

Thank you.  Thank you for taking time to visit this amazing research project.  I hope that you will learn something from visiting this site.  Family is incredible.
