Coach:
West Valley High School would like to invite you to the sixteenth
annual West Valley Coed Cross Country Invitational.
After years of dealing with SAT tests and youth football conflicts, we
have decided to move the meet to a Friday evening twilight meet.
Remember, the primary purpose of our invitational is to allow
athletes from throughout the Northern Section an opportunity for a
mid-season tune-up on the NSCIF Championship course.
Hopefully, our meet will fit into your schedule.
For this mid-season competition, we will use a team scoring
format combining boy and girl finishers from each school.
Four separate races will be run, with individual awards available
for those teams that do not have both boy and girl runners.
However, team scoring will be determined by adding the times of
the top three (3) boy and
girl finishers from each school. Athletes
not in the top three become eligible for individual awards.
Team scoring will take place at both the varsity and junior
varsity levels. Our intent
is to promote team support between the boy's and girl's programs.

ENTRIES: We will be using www.athletic.net this year for our entries. Please post your entries by Tuesday, October 6, 2009 of any
athletes who might run from your school. We will be using a computer scoring program for immediate results. Include first name,

Entry fee checks may be hand delivered the day of the meet.
ENTRY FEE: $5.00 per entrant or a maximum of $200.00 per high school, $1.00 for elementary. Entry fee may be
