Annual Nor-Cal Multi-Event Championships
Information Sheet for high school coaches and athletes
Date: Tuesday and Wednesday, April 14/15, 2009
Site: West Valley High School, Cottonwood, California
Times: 10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. each day
Entry Fee: $20.00 per athlete, payable to West Valley Track
Scoring: International Scoring tables
Awards: Engraved plaques - class champion (9-12) in each division.
Medals for the winner of each event, and for the top 5 overall
finishers in each division not receiving plaques.
Lodging: Please call me if you need assistance with lodging
Facilities: 1/4" spikes required, implements and blocks provided, all-weather track
Rules: 2 false start rule in effect, 3 jumps or throws per event
General Information:
Athletes will be grouped by lot for Tuesday's competition and
by score for Wednesday's events. Please arrive one hour before
your scheduled starting time to receive information and
assignments. Please call if you will not compete.
Tuesday events: Men - 100, Long Jump, Shot Put, 400
Women - 100 hurdles, High Jump, 200
Wednesday events:Men - 110 hurdles, High Jump, Discus, 1500
Women - Long Jump, Shot Put, 800
