| 10/12/00 On the 9th December, westlife won the Record of the Year with 'my love'. They then went on to winning 6 awards the next day at the Poll winners party, including Best International band, Best band in the universe, Best single, Best Album, Most fanciable male (shane) and best haircut (kian) 6/11/00 Westlife have beaten the spice girls to the top of the album charts. The spice girls album 'forever' is at number 2. 5/11/00 Westlife have achieved their seventh consecutive number 1, with 'my love' They have broken their own world record. 29/10/00 Westlife are doing a signing in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Dublin. 28/04/00 Westlife have been nominated for two awards (group of the year and best male group) at this years Disney Channel awards. This is the 5th consecutive number 1, putting them in the record books. 04/01/00 Westlife have held onto the top spot for the third week with 'I have a dream/seasons in the sun'. The first number 1 of the 21st Century!! 26/12/99 They have still managed to keep hold of the number 1 spot, making it the first number 1 of 2000 19/12/99 'Seasons in the sun/I have a dream has gone straight to the top spot. It is this years Christmas number 1. |
