This page was assembled because often times we as African American women need to take advantage of the educational opportunities that exist. These opportunities can come at one of mainstream society's top schools or at a historically black college. We should take advantage of ALL that's available to us. But, at the same time we must realize that as black, women who are also lesbians and bisexuals,we may not easily find our own social niche at these schools.
