since i'm in the UK... it is only appropriate that i rate stuff in and about london and brighton!!! hehe... well.. here's the scoop on the 3 most important things in the UK (well... for me anyway!!)...
THE MUSICALS are something to talk about!!! there is nowhere else in the world u will find any more and any better musicals!!! (well... maybe the ones in Las Vegas are really good as well... hmm... maybe i should take over the travel part of this site... [suan aik.. *hint hint*]) i saw an absolutely wonderful one two nights ago called 'mamma mia!' it was the best thing!!! not only was the music completly ABBA (one of my fave 'old' bands..), there was also a good storyline to go with it! for more on the storyline etc. visit their site www.mamma-mia.com . since i'm on hols rite now.. i'm going to see another one called 'my fair lady' on friday... (will tell u guys all about that later) u can guess what the story is based on.. haha.. and i'll also be seeing the gorgeous mr. freddie prinze jr. on saturday as perng's sis (jiun [one of my friends also in the UK]) managed to get tickets for the musical he's in called 'this is our youth' (will definitly tell u guys about that as well!!!) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE SHOPPING can only be described in two words... expensive and great! i know... doesn't exactly make sense but... it is!!! everything is good... u get like great department stores which are very expensive... (eg. Harrods) haha... clothes and fashion here is extremely good... i absolutely love this store called 'french connection UK.' also called FCUK... i know.. sounds and looks like F*** but the clothes are really WOW!!! other labels that i like are GAP, NEXT and UNI QLO. all worth checkin out if ur in the UK.
THE FOOD is absolutly great!!! believe it or not.. chinese food here is much better here than in m'sia!!! but of course u can only get great malaysian food in malaysia! i totally miss char koay teow!!! (to all my friends this is a very big hint!!! belanja makan when i get back!!!) haha... love chinatown man!!! u can get the best 'cham liew' hong kong style! there's this malaysian restaurant called 'kopitiam' in chinatown as well.. the curry mee is one to rival the ones at home!!! too bad they dun serve char koay teow...
