The PERSIAN is a quiet cat. Once passed kittenhood, these cats spend their time eating and sleeping. Many enjoy cuddling up on their owner's laps or sleeping on their owner's pillows at night. They must be bathed on a regular basis and combed frequently in order to keep their long coats in good condition. Persians come in a variety of colors and patterns. The TONKINESE was originally a cross between the Burmese and Siamese breeds. A distinguishing feature of this breed is the aqua colored eyes. Tonkinese cats enjoy the companionship of both people and other cats. They make wonderful family pets. Being shorthair cats they require less care. Their colors come in three varieties--pointed, mink and solid. Both PERSIANS and TONKINESE make wonderful companions. |
