Bismillah Hir Rahman ir Raheem!!!

As-Salaam-U-Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu!!!! Ya Muslimeen...

On September 11th, 2001, the people who went to work in the WTC did not know they would hardly be able to start their businesses before death would take them away. In fact, no one of us knows how long we would live. A Muslim is supposed to look forward to an 'eternal life' after his death, and thus, death, for him, is a start of a new journey!

Before you go on a journey, the first thing you consider is packing a suitcase. You double-check if you have put in all the things you would require - all the basics you might be in need of. But, have you ever checked the contents of the suitcase you will take for your 'eternal journey'? Is it full of virtues? Or does it have more sins instead?

You might plan what would you do before leaving home for a journey: lock the doors, shut the windows, check for the keys. But, have you ever wondered what would you like to do just before leaving this world? Do you want to die invoking curses on people you don't like? Or would you like Allah's name on your tongue instead?

While reading a captivating novel, or while watching a movie, have you ever wondered what if death partakes you right then? What if you were questioned about your last act in the world? Would you like telling Allah that you were watching a very interesting movie?

Death can come to us any time! Make an effort to be ready for it. Whenever you stand up for prayer, think of it as your last one. You can never be sure if you will be given a chance to make amends for your sins. Ask Allah for forgiveness as soon as you realise your mistake. Don't wait. There might not be enough time. After all, we are like passengers in this world. We will ultimately reach our destinations sooner or later.

Let us all work hard on this, InshaAllah!!!

May Allah Bless Us All [AAMEEN!!!]. =*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*
