Thanks for
stopping in! I'm not much of a web page designer, but I do
have fun with them. This was nothing more than a way to have
an ego page. Hey, what can I say? I have fun on the web. I'm
a photographer -- I'm a pretty damn good one, too, even if I
do say so myself -- a budding artist. Yes, I have some
sketches and drawings that I've linked to at a larger site,
and I like to have fun in life. One of my favorite sayings
is, "I'll try anything once, twice if I like it, and
three times if it's fun."
Who am I? I'm just your
average geekette. Well maybe not average at 6' tall, but a
Geek with a capital 'G' none-the-less. I used to run a small
consulting firm in North Jersey called Computer Solutions
Consultants. Yep, I said used to. I went out of business with
all the cut-throat mega companies offering the same things as
I did for less. Well, they claimed to anyway. They really
didn't. I had better customer service, but I had to eat, too.
And while customer service is important, no one wants to pay
for it. So... I went out of business. Now I'm getting more
and more into what was once my hobby. I made it my vocation
as well as my avocation, and it has also become my field of
study. Yep! I'm back at school. I started up a new business
from the ashes of the old called CSC-New Media. Maybe, with any luck, we'll be able
to eat from the profits on this one. =) I know, wishful
thinking.
As if you couldn't tell, I
love pups. I have one scurrying about somewhere around here.
And, if he's up to his usual tricks, he's probably digging in
the bathroom trashcan. <sigh> "What's a mother to
do?" Just where he's hiding is easy to tell, all you
have to do is ring the door bell or wait for when the Letter
Carrier comes!
A
photographer? With a firm named CSC-New Media? Yep! I don't
just do regular photography. In fact, I really don't do
portraits at all. I hate doing all the marketing you need to
do to get the weddings, and I really hate all the crap that
goes with shooting one. And doing studio sessions saying
things like, "look over here and smile" just aren't
my er... "cup of tea," as it were. I like the art
aspects, and I'm really good at Sports Photography. So, I
guess you can look forward to some shots of the NY Skankies,
maybe some College Sports Stuff, and some really interesting
things in-between.
