Air temperature once dropped below 20 degrees Celsius this week. On
Sunday, it was cloudy at first, fine during the day. A cold front crossed
the coastal areas of Guangdong early in the morning on Monday and brought
temperature drop and cloudy weather to this district. On Monday and Tuesday,
it was mainly cloudy. It was recorded with 18.9 degrees Celsius in the
morning on two consecutive days, that was the lowest air temperature so far
this autumn. It became fine and dry on Wednesday afternoon. As affected by
a dry northeast monsoon, it remained fine for the rest of this week but in
the afternoon became very dry, with relative humidity of below 35 per cent.
On the other hand, Typhoon Muifa moved back and forth for some time over
the sea to the east of the Philippines before crossing the Philippines and
heading towards the central part of the South China Sea.

降至百分之35以下。另一方面，颱風梅
花有一段時間徘徊於菲律賓以東海面，
其後橫過菲律賓，朝南海中部進發。
