Early this week, a ridge of high pressure persisted to bring
fine and hot weather to this district. It was also relatively dry
in the afternoon. Relative humidity was recorded to be under 50
percents. A thundery rain area crossed the district on Tuesday
afternoon. At that moment, it was cloudy with rain, heavy at times,
and some thunderstorms. Rain eased off later and there were sunny
intervals in the afternoon. On Wednesday, as affected by a trough of
low pressure, it was mainly cloudy and there were showers in the
district in the morning. On Thursday, the trough of low pressure
gradually dissiapted and there were sunny periods during the day.
For the rest of this week, a southwesterly airstream brought sunny
and hot to very hot weather to the district. On Saturday afternoon,
32.6 degrees Celsius was once recorded in the district, that was
the highest so far in this summer.
本星期初，一道高壓脊持續為本區帶來
晴朗及炎熱的天氣，下午天氣亦較為乾
燥，相對濕度在百分之五十以下。一個
雷雨區於星期二早上橫過本區，當時多
雲有雨，雨勢有時頗大，亦有幾陣雷暴
；稍後雨勢減弱，下午短暫時間有陽光
。星期三，受一道低壓槽影響，本區大
致多雲，早上有驟雨。星期四，低壓槽
逐步消散，本區日間部分時間有陽光。
一股西南氣流於本週餘下時間為本區帶
來陽光充沛及炎熱至酷熱的天氣；星期
六下午，本區曾錄得氣溫32.6攝氏度，
是今年入夏以來最高紀錄。
