April 13, 2003 As most of you know, this has been a one-woman show around
here. Well during the past year, I've become more involved
in creating and designing graphics. Doing so has taken much
more of my time and I have not been able to update the site weekly
as I had promised. With all that said, I've decided to keep
this site up, however I will no longer be updating weekly.
The Awards section as well as the Affiliations sections of this
site will be deleted. I will continue to add some of the
most amusing links to sites that I come across and encourage you
to keep submitting your favorites. Running this site has
been a lot of fun for me and I still love to share with all of you
some of the great (or at least amusing) sites I've come across.
Thanks for visiting me week after week - that's what kept me
going!!
If you go to Google.com and enter
your phone number, in this form 'xxx-xxx-xxxx', it will return your name and address. I entered my
work number and some numbers of friends and it hit. This is a little creepy. If
someone gets your ph # now, they can drive to your house! And
just to make it more convenient, you can get directions there
too. To remove it, click on the little phone icon in the upper
left. It will take you to a page that gives you the option to
remove your listing.
If you suffer from epilepsy, or any form of visual
impairment. DO NOT DO THIS!!! Instructions: 1) Click the link and download the small
file. 2) Place right hand on your mouse. 3) Stare at
the screen for at least 20 seconds. 4) Now look at your
hand on the mouse. Very cool.
This company getting ready to introduce full-screen online
advertising. I'm annoyed enough about over all the friggin'
pop-ups (sorry about mine), as it is. I just can't imagine
having to live through 15 seconds of a commercial on the net.
