After your fist visit to India, how long did it take for you to return again? And how many trips to follow?

I hate it when I am there, and I love it when I am in London. And I can't wait to get back!

Did a 4 month trip in '95-'96. Haven't returned yet but hope to. India isn't the kind of place I want to go for 2 weeks so I'll need a solid chunk of time for that to happen.

I did not visit Rajasthan, Kashmir or Kerala and would like to get to those places sometime.

That place has put a mark on my soul, so to speak!

 

I first made it to India in 93" for a 7 week stay. Sad to relate I never made it past Pushkar!? ( it was nice then!)
I made my return visit almost a year later.Spreading my wings a little.
I have returned every year since, gradually eeking more time out of my European life. I'm now LUCKY!! enough to have spent around 5 1/2 months there on the last two trips.
I leave on my next trip in about 5 weeks. I just can't get enough. Wonderful place with mostly friendly people.

First trip was in 78 for 6 mths.
Then no money for two years.:-(

Since then...Ummm.....BLOODY HECK!

I seem to have a serious addiction.

 

First went in 1979. Got hooked, now go annually since then. Sometimes for 6 months at a time. Going again in a minute.

 

Was there in 1998. Never been back. It was OK but I just don't find it addictive. I may go again some day but I'm not in a hurry.

 

first trip 6 mths, been back 4 times since as part of 6mth trips and due out in oct2003 for another 6mths, yet still have seen so little of the country as it is soooooooo big.

I'd rather have a mind opened with wonder than one closed by belief.

First trip in 2001. One year after (in two weeks) i'm going there again, and have plans for the next year :-)
