Big Brother Sister 6
CBS's Big brother 6

Welcome to Webtool's commentary and strategic analysis of CBS's Big brother. Key links to other coverage and photos are also listed. This website unabashedly roots for specific players while skewering others at the same time.

The eviction cycle begins and ends on "Eviction" Thursdays. A person is kicked out of the BB House and the remaining people compete in a contest to determine the next Head of Household who nominates two people for the next eviction vote. Broadcasts will be on Tuesday at 9 PM, Thursday at 8 PM and Saturday at 8 PM EDT/PDT.

September 20, 2005 "The End"

Another reach for the Pepto-Abysmal finish eh viewers? Well stupidity loses every time. The Stupid Six as I've referred to them made poor strategical decisions as contrasted with "The Friendship" which essentially pooled the thoughts of it's members. The biggest error had to do with simple arithmetic. If with twelve people left in the game you can clearly define six of "them", then guess what? You have no choice but to regard the remaining houseguests as your team. It really doesn't matter if you can't trust James and Sarah at this point. You have to kill off the largest alliance's members first.

The second error involves trust. Most reality show games are deceit driven by and large. Often a single double-cross blows away the victim's chances. Two screwings can help take down an entire alliance as we learned here. Remember the agreement Kaysar and Eric had to not nominate each other? So instead Eric screwed Kaysar by taking out his partner, then as HOH next round Kaysar screws him right back by not nominating but substituting him after the POV. How is this different? You're not fooling anyone! Then Kaysar is immediately reemed next round only to return after a ONE week absence. How can he possibly believe he could broker any future deals with his opponents is beyond me.

Lastly, this season a large alliance succeeded. Mostly because the decisions were given group consideration with Maggie and Ivette providing most of the leadership. On the other side, when they took over the HOH that person was given freedom to make their own decisions. When Howie first won HOH it was Maggie who gave him orders! Unbelievably, she probably won the game right there. After so many weeks, didn't Howie's teammates realize that this manchild needs constant supervision?

There you have it. Look no further as to why this bedpan jockey is in a new tax bracket. However, like previous Big Brother's, it's not so much as that person won, as the others have lost thru their incompetence.

I guess there is no point in reiterating that the final show should be 2 hours in length and have three people stay to the end for a last eviction prior to a final live vote? I didn't think so, cause then viewers would be spared the blackhole of entertainment that characterizes the final days of a season.

In any case, should we be surprised? Hello ... the game started with 2 more women then men least we forget! In addition to this, the producers brought back a player which is totally unfair to those playing the game. Lastly, they still haven't changed the POV competition to everyone plays. What am I saying? The game hasn't got any better.

Sep 17, 2005

Janelle gave it that old college try. I think both of them were guessing at most of the initial six questions in any case. I did think the producers should've cut down on some of the other fluff in the show and upp'ed the number of questions to eleven.

I wonder if Ivette realizes she didn't have to compete in a single contest since both of the other women had no choice but to take her to the final two?. Maybe Howie should've made Ivette the target and left Beau to take their chances with. As for Maggie, she had no choice but to play hard to win the final HOH. She just wasn't good enough.

Sep 13, 2005

So far so good. Janelle has succeeded in pitting April against Ivette. This is a crucial step in combating the remaining three women. Nothing she can do about Maggie who's playing it cautious and shutting up at this point. In any case, she has to win HOH again or she'll be eliminated. Then in the final eviction ceremony, she has to evict Maggie in order to face Ivette in the final for the $500K.

As for the other two women, Maggie's playing it well and Ivette is completely out of control at this point. This woman has no conception of when to bite her tongue, shut up and eat crow for a time in order to achieve her objective.

Sep 9, 2005

Hallelujah, Janelle won HOH and will survive until the final three with a chance at the last two. The studying paid off! Now she has to make the best possible decision regarding an eviction that no one on her side will be able to vote for.

It's all women from here on out. So much for calling the show Big Brother.

  • The "Friendship" - Ivette, Maggie and April (All wiseass Bitches)
  • The Buxom Blonde - Janelle.

Now I'm still trying to reason this out but, I think Janelle should aim to meet Ivette in a final two showdown. Yes, both Janelle and the viewers want Ivette out of there ASAP but, follow along with me. If Janelle nominates Ivette and Maggie, then and it's a 50-50 chance April can be substituted for Ivette with the POV, Ivette will most likely evict April with her sole vote.

Now everything depemds on April. She is fiercely independent and might actually go against a persom who was directly responsible for her loss. Her vote with Howie, James and Rachel is enough for a victory!

Sep 6, 2005

So that's it for all the males in the game! I've changed the title ... it's Big Sister 6 ! Not unexpected when you start with more women than men. Especially if originally one of the males, Eric goes on a power trip and doesn't maintain his entry objectives.

Oh for those rooting for the Stupid Six, hello the game is over!

Sep 3, 2005

Ouch, they got rid of Beau, Ivette remained and Maggie folded her tent once Janelle was done to let Ivette win HOH! So endgame approaches and it doesn't look good for our heroes. Oh I was hoping Janelle would be walking Ivette to the door. Now, barring a POV replacement for her, Janelle will be the next person to go!

Looks bad now, going to be three CUNTs (as Maggie might say) plus Howie at the end:

  • The "Friendship" - Ivette, Maggie and April (All wiseass Bitches)
  • El Stupido - Howie, the affable buffoon.

Basically the game is over. Janelle will be gone and Howie has to win HOH and eliminate Maggie. Then he has to win again, yes once down to three, the HOH winner PLAYS the next HOH contest and can repeat! Then my guess is he'd decide to face April in the final. Now I'm not expecting him to win but, Rachel, Janelle, James and Beau could decide that in reality, April has done nothing for them so why not give it to the clown!

Who are we kidding? This has been the strongest multiplayer alliance in reality television history I think. We're down to picking one of these selfish magpies.

Sep 1-2, 2005

Good fortune has smiled on the Stupid Two! Howie has won the HOH and was forced to immediately declare his nominations which were Ivette and Beau. The collective wind you're feeling is not the remnants of Katrina blowing threw but, the producers and sponsors breathing a sigh of relief that no longer will they have to shell out one million to the winner. The last remaining couple will be broken up and it's surviving member becomes isolated for the moment.

The POV results should be interesting this go around. Unless either Ivette or Beau wins the POV to save themselves, I really don't see any of the others exercising the power.

Now it would appear Ivette is the more important target. However, the next HOH contest will be another quiz type contest making perhaps Beau or April a higher priority eviction at this point. That is the smart thing to do but, speaking on behalf of us all, "Ivette, America can no longer tolerate you, ADIOS!".

Aug 29-30, 2005

Hey fellow "pieces of shit!". Classy April, dissing the viewers who are the reason the show exists. You ever wonder why you don't hear too much about the "Biosphere Project"? It's not on TV you stupid bitch! In any case, intelligent viewers realize this as the proper sympathetic support within her own group that'll be expected, especially if you want the jury votes from the faction that counts.

Nearing end game we have 3 couples:

  • 1/2 "Friendship" - Beau/Ivette (The Gays)
  • 1/2 "Friendship" - Maggie and April (Normal Bitches)
  • Stupid Two - Howie and Janelle. (Two dummies left at the end)
  • Oh and James - The HG leaving on thurs!

Suppose James were to stay and Janelle were to be evicted, this might actually work out to the best for the "Friendship". Janelle couldn't win HOH as the viewers are pulling for her to do. She's performed the best in the HOH compeitions. This would give the "Friendship" the best chance to hold onto the HOH at the most critical juncture.

However, James is gone on Thursday. Either Janelle/Howie wins the next HOH or finally, Janelle is gone. The remotest chance for a single one of Janelle/Howie beating the "Friendship" is if they pit the two pairs against one another. It's impossible for the two of them to pick off four of them in order to lock up the vote.

Aug 25, 2005

Seven people left to go! Now no one wants any of the crones to win but that is the likely outcome at this point. The all too familiar breakdown is as follows:

  • The "Friendship" - Beau/Ivette vs. Maggie and April. (See ordering below)
  • Stupid Two - Howie and Janelle. (Two dummies left at the end)
  • James - The most successful POV player (but non-HOH winner) in the history of BB.

Dismal huh? Rachel blames Howie for losing the game and yet, she doesn't stop to consider that she threw an HOH contest to her lapdog and didn't bother to keep him on a leash and control the picks he made. Yes he's an idiot and your stupid for not assuming the responsibility for making certain the game goes in your favor!

Alright, April won HOH? Wow didn't expect that. The buzz from the feeds is she wants to nominate Howie and Janelle. They must agree not to use James in the POV and then he will be substituted for the person saved and kicked out the door next.

This plan is slightly off. Yes nominate those two but then evict one of them hopefully Janelle. James has won POVs not HOHs! Can't anyone in this game count? You want the least chance of the remaining HGs of winning an HOH outside of your alliance. Not to mention the demoralizing end result: Only one largely unmotivated person left amongst the Stupid alliance!

As for all of the crones, if they came up for a vote against each other, who'd win? Amongst the "Friendship", this is the most likely ordering of possible winners:

  1. Beau - Gay guy beats anyone. Must be evicted even by his own team!
  2. Maggie - She toned down her rhetoric and let the last two bitches run wild.
  3. Ivette - Strategically the best, the most outspoken, least trusted houseguest.
  4. April - Angered everyone, an excellent choice for Best Player to Meet in the Finals.
Aug 22-23, 2005

Why does Rachel want to be evicted? She's asking to be removed and I guess she doesn't realize that should she stay, even if she doesn't win that gives her partner Howie the best chance to win. Conversely, getting rid of Rachel is the correct move on Beau's part.

Little to add after Tuesdays show. James won the POV again and played it safe by not exercising it. Only interesting thing is Maggie keeps reminding her crones that the longer they keep James in the game, the bigger the risk they run. None of them seems to have realized that if James wins the HOH one of them is going home.

It's going to be interesting when Beau's "Ah-ha's" moment comes up just before the week of his eviction. You know when it dawns on him that he had to be eliminated because he'd beat anyone in the house if squared off in the final two. Even his partner Ivette must get rid of him before that time if she intends on winning the big money.

Aug 20, 2005

Another "Black Eye" for CBS announcing it's a live show and in actuality, the competitions and the eviction have been conducted already. Not to mention the online live feeds are suspended.

Well Jennifer has been evicted! I listened to her rationalizations for her actions and realize it's all meaningless blather. You'd lied bitch and didn't think things through.

Oh that was solid thought by Janelle replacing Maggie with Ivette prior to the vote. This forced all votes but April to Jennifer.

People rooting for a remaining member of the Stupid Three, Howie, Rachel or Janelle to win it all are best advised to run a head count. Unless two members of this group meet each other as the final houseguests, they can't win the jury vote. The "Friendship" outnumbers them on the jury and even James would get the nod over a single remaining one of them.

  • The "Friendship" - Beau/Ivette, April and Maggie. (One is Likely Winner of BB6)
  • James - James. (A lesser of two evils versus a Stupid Three member)
  • Stupid Three - Howie/Rachel and Janelle. (No one to blame but yourselves)

Beau won the HOH and now everyone is on the radar. This was close and James had a chance, which would have forced him to come out against the "Friendship" in order to win. Beau has nominated Howie and Rachel. Collectively the group wants to do them in next. If they're smart they will take out Rachel if possible. They control the vote 3-2 and only the POV can alter which of the Stupid Three leaves this week.

Aug 18, 2005

Great Show! Even though the first 2/3rds was essentially scripted. I was wondering who might step up amongst the Stupid Three to take charge and if they'd know what to do. Finally, Janelle met the challenge and responded admirably. The only thing she didn't do was turn and face Ivette to say "You're on Deck Lesbo!". Just to put the whammy on her desire to fight for POV!

Did you see the face on Jennifer? She lost it this week. Making out like you're not abandoning personal ethics and impervious to retribution. Young lady, America is praying for your demise on Saturday. You allowed your cohorts to sway you and now hopefully you'll pay. Obviously, Howie/Rachel can recommend an eviction but, and this is important:

The "Friendship" will have to begin to turn on itself.
This is the only hope for the Stupid Three to even last in this game. The crones will have to start fighting each other.

Kudos to James for sliding off the spotlight and onto the sidelines for the moment. The man's as slimy as they come if you listened to his comments on Kaysar's eviction. Again I reiterate, Ivette has stepped to the foreground in terms of game play. Keep in mind if Jennifer goes then the team of Ivette/Beau is the only one on that side playing for the million bucks. This while slowly eroding the other factions in the game.

Player alignments after Kaysar's 2nd departure:

  • The "Friendship" - April/Jennifer, Beau/Ivette and Maggie.
  • Stupid Three - Howie/Rachel and Janelle.
  • James - James (James Flip-flopping week to week).
Aug 15, 2005

Jenny decided to renege on her agreement and put Kaysar on the block for eviction. This is a gutsy move which will probably spell the end of the "Stupid Six." Kaysar will be thrown right back in the water like the small fish that he actually is. I can't believe viewers have felt that this was an intelligent strategist.

Two dangers with this move. The obvious is James hanging around that much longer plus, he's guaranteed a spot on the jury! Secondly, Jennifer has ripped the bull's-eye off of Maggie's back and placed it on forehead no less. Should Howie, Rachel or Janelle win HOH before they themselves are evicted, revenging Kaysar's second ouster is the only thing left. Sure let them go after James, the "Friendship" would laugh at them!

So who's the real winner here besides Beau who is the sole person left cruising under the radar? Why that's Ivette. She has an option on an alliance with James (granted this is like holding a lit firecracker), benefited her team's headcount, avenged "Crappy's" eviction again and as mentioned shifted the revenge bull's-eye to a teammate she is at odds with. Whew, like holding a superfecta ticket on the Kentucky Derby.

Aug 11-12, 2005

As expected, Sarah is out and Kaysar is back! Also, as the producers have done in the past, the return of a houseguest coincides with the scheduling of an endurance contest for HOH. This time the players are in a greenhouse like structure holding their fingers on a button for as long as they can.

The HOH came down to Jennifer and Kaysar when he gave in and allowed her to win for some assurance, the target is James. What's wrong with these people? Can't they count opposing votes both now and after the next eviction? People it's like playing pool. One shot sets up the next. Assuming James buys the farm finally, then it's 5-4 against you Kaysar.

Jennifer has nominated Janelle and Rachel with the idea that after the POV, James will be back-doored into position and booted Thursday. Have I mentioned how ridiculously unfair this is? James has certainly been entertaining and no worst then that bastard Will Kirby who lied just for kicks.

So the sovereign six will be down to the stupid four next week. I can't figure what Rachel is doing however. Again it looks like she didn't fight to win the HOH and she's getting chummy with members of the "Friendship". Seems likely at some point she'll make a pitch for a new alliance of people. Gutsy move if it works.

Player alignments after Kaysar's return:

  • The "Friendship" - April/Jennifer, Beau/Ivette and Maggie.
  • Sovereign Four (?) - Howie/Rachel, Janelle and Kaysar.
  • James - James is now an acknowledged independent.

Aug 6, 2005

I was afraid of this. Howie IS as stupid as he looks. He's nominated James and Sarah guaranteeing that one of them is gone this week. Even if Kaysar returns on Thursday, the "Friendship" group has five people to four people plus one very angry lonely heart left.

They'd have to win HOH again and go after Maggie in order to equalize the core group numbers. Too many if's to complete this scenario. More than likely the group falls apart unless they can pit members of the "Friendship" up against each other.

James has won the POV. So if Kaysar returns Thursday, and with Sarah gone, this ban of idiots has a chance to recover. Then once again, they have to get serious about winning two POVs in a row. On the opposite side of the coin. They have to win HOH and go after Kaysar all over again. Hell, let Howie take James out again. ( What a moron! )

Aug 4, 2005

So Maggie's leaving next week! Excellent! This is the best season of the show for vindictive evictions ever! It's going back and forth! As I have predicted, Kaysar's old group will stick together otherwise they'd be outnumbered as separate entities.

Player alignments after Kaysar's departure:

  • The "Friendship" - April/Jennifer, Beau/Ivette and Maggie.
  • Sovereign Three (?) - Howie/Rachel and Janelle.
  • James/Sarah Group - James/Sarah (James Flip-flopping week to week).

Speaking of Kaysar. guess who'll be returning next week? Yes, the outspoken Iraqi will be coming back into the house! Now I've mentioned this before:

Returning evicted HGs to the game is NOT FAIR.
Maggie's group may not have a chance to win HOH again for all we know. Kaysar's eviction was Maggie's sole accomplishment in the game so far. Now it might be invalidated? That throws the whole game off.

Aug 2, 2005

Sarah has won the POV and saved James which is no surprise. So Kaysar will be walking the last mile on Thursday. He did engaged Maggie in an entreaty on his behalf but, to no avail. Good to see him humbled as such. However, Maggie's Minions have gotten the message across to Kaysar about James' duplicitous strategies.

So Kaysar is now instructing Howie and Janelle on how to play next week in co-ordination with Maggie's group in order to take James out. Then group to group competition can be resumed. Hey, Howie/Rachel and Janelle may as well agree with Maggie's group. If you think about it. Three groups are playing for the HOH. The third group is James/Sarah. Should they win both groups will attempt to sway them anyway. Now if Howie/Rachel and Janelle win, they could always snub the agreement if they decide to continue with the old game plan or move in a new direction.

At this point in the game, three people are flying under the radar. Jenny, Beau and Rachel. It might be possible in this most cutthroat of all Big Brothers for a background player to win. They must avoid being confrontational and let their partners buttress the contact with "players".

July 30, 2005

Kaysar and James are on the block. The game will undoubtedly end for one of them this week. As we learn on Saturday, Sarah has won the POV, so James will be saved and perhaps Janelle goes on the block. In any case, we will be bidding farewell to Kaysar this week and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy I say.

When will people in this game learn? DO NOT BRAG!!! So you won HOH, yes you'll most likely be seeking revenge. No one can blame you! The idea is to make it seem as if you had no choice but to "set up" other people for eviction. Too much twisting in the wind and you move to the head of the class as the primary target. Adios Kaysar, another wise-ass bites the dust! I find it hard to believe he feels he was any different from Eric.

July 28, 2005

Guess who's getting a hookah shoved up his ass this week? Karma-challenged Kaysar will be learning the meaning of the expression "blow smoke up my ass" this week! Viewers can count on some combination of Kaysar, James, and Janelle or Howie to receive nominations this time around.

What an embarassing performance at the HOH competition for the HGs. Did no one practice getting close to the back edge without going over? The best failing effort came from April. One of the few times when a hole in one turns out to be a loser. I did notice that Rachel appeared to have deliberately lost the contest. Her toss was strong enough to take out the backboard at the end of the tray. I realize she's not a major target but she does have a partner this year.

July 26, 2005

Eric will be gone on Thursday and Kaysar has succeeded in reforming the balance of power in the house at this point in the game. I think anyone will recognize the following groupings as being lopsided.

Player alignments after Eric's departure:

  • Sovereign Six - Kaysar/Janelle, Howie/Rachel and James/Sarah.
  • The "Friendship" - April/Jennifer, Beau/Ivette and Maggie.

I regard James and Sarah's loyalty as being suspicious since he is a true opportunist. It would come as no surprise if as HOH at some time, he formed a third group with those remaining who'd be willing to trade no nominate guarantees for a couple of weeks.

Eric's old group has to win HOH's at this point or they'll be picked off one by one. So should Kaysar's group remain intact and eliminate the other group, the men will have succeeded in balancing the head count once again. I don't expect this to happen actually, if not James then at some point the Howie/Rachel pair will pick off a member of Kaysar's group.

July 24, 2005

James and Maggie are the nominees. James cause he's a serious player, partly to avenge Michael and the sense he's been playing Kaysar all along which he has. Maggie was nominated causes she's paired wuth Eric but Kaysar has an agreement with Eric which he'll honor for at least this week.

Seems James has won the power of veto so I'd suspect him to save himself. It's not clear who will go up in James place. I assume it's Ivette for now.

Wow, I think Kaysar's making this crap up as he goes along. Now he will be subsituting Eric for James after the POV is exercised. I'd consider this breaking his agreement with Eric and I don't understand how he's rationalizing it. He has also elevated his status to that of a primary target as well.

Again I mention, the men have now lost complete touch with their sex's head count. After Eric is evicted Thursday they will be down three people.

July 22, 2005

We're back to the situation with the women holding down a two person advantage. Also none of the men is "under the radar" any longer. All the other people regard individual men as being a threat. "James is the strongest player in this game, we have to get him out of here. They aren't strong competitors, they just have people power." so says Howie to Rachel. (I still can't wrap my comprehension around Rachel's involvement with Howie in any capacity.)

Adding to the ironic consequences accompanying the demise of the men's alliance, Kaysar has won the HOH. Seems to me Eric would be the expected revenge target at this point. He only has to be careful who is chosen as the second nominee. More than likely, it'll be Ivette. Then if he must substitute Rachel, he nevertheless succeeds in exacting some measure of revenge on someone.

A thought on the women now especially April. It's has been suggested to me that in many smaller gatherings April is usually centrally located. The person relating this to me says that if you consider the body language this would indicate that the so located person is regarded as the one in authority. Perhaps April is unconsciously treated as the leader of the women at this point. Also April and her partner Jennifer are the lowest key pairing to date.

July 16, 2005

What's with Michael and Beau? The two of them going around making physical contact with people against their wishes. It's easier to wear a sign saying evict me ASAP. Even Howie takes liberties with Janelle although her strategy is playing to all the men.

Needless to say, I don't see much reason to believe a male alliance will hold together anymore. The best of the competitors, Eric and James are already marking each other for future evictions. So with Michael and Janelle up for eviction, and assuming the POV doesn't save Michael, this week will be a foregone conclusion.

It's still too early to tell how the women will go after each other. I'm having a difficult time trying to decide if any of the women want to lead much less organize themselves as a group.

July 14, 2005

I see the producers have retained the same old POV competition rules and rewards. HELLO SHAPIRO, you're not getting the biggest bang for the bucks! First off, everyone should play. This prevents the HOH from nominating two decoys so all the people playing for POV throw the contest. Subsequently, the HOH then replaces a decoy with the real intended target of that week.

Secondly, why not give the person who both wins and exercises a POV a 1/2(half) future immunity POV. You would need two of these to do an anytime POV for yourself or another. Now suppose you're evicted from the house having only a half immunity. You'd leave the house but have a chance to compete in future POVs for the right to re-enter if you win.

The first strategy that must be carried out is underway. The men will have shaved the women's advantage down to a 7-6 headcount. Assuming no new players enter or re-enter the game, should a man win BB6 the women have only themselves to blame.

After the POV contest, it's apparent Rachel has to go as soon as possible. She's a competitor and paired with Howie no less. We've seen houseguests voice their acknowledgement of this fact. This means nothing if they don't act quickly.

Eric won the HOH competition and it appears the majority of housequests have decided to go after Michael next. I understand trying to avoid alienating as many people as possible early in the game but how does this help the men? If a guy goes the women regain their advantage.

I keep reshuffling guesses on the eventual winner. It doesn't appear Sara has any killer instinct at all and is riding the coattails of James. He's presently flying under the radar, let's see how far that takes these two lovebirds (perhaps the most dull couple in BB history to date ).

July 11, 2005

Sarah and James are a serious couple apparently. They've got to go if others want to win. It's doesn't seem that any of the other men will hook up with any of the ladies. Is it just me or is it an unwritten law that no more than one pairing can occuring during any one BB season?

Supposedly, the house itself has several secrets. One that will not be revealed until midway thru the game? Others that are out in the open. I assume rewards will be cash, cars, a trip outside the house, immunity from an eviction or a different way to spy on the others. It'd be nice if these multiple rewards were something really novel but what? I got it! How about replacing Julie as host next summer!

Does it bother anyone else that the housequests don't appear to be spending any time trying tp figure out the out in the open secrets? What underachievers comprise this years crew.

July 9, 2005

As usual, this website is rooting for the hot chicks, Janelle, Ashlea and April in that order. Notice how quickly the other housequests have put Ashlea on the block. Every year, I enjoy the jealous catfights among the women of Big Brother. There certainly is the potential for this year's infighting to be the best. In any case, already it looks like Ashlea goes first and Janelle will be put up ASAP.

It's too early to guage a overall winner. My early thoughts lean to Sarah and Maggie from the ladies versus Eric and James from the men. Also with women starting out in an 8-6 advantage over the men I wouldn't be surprised if evicted men are given a chance to re-enter the house.

Tying the food competition together with the HOH competition is a bad idea. Remember Will Kirby? His strategy was to avoid winning HOH competitions so that the others wouldn't consider him a threat. Harder to feign your lack of skills if for the sake of a team's food you perform so well in the first part of the competition. The producers should've left the contests uncoupled.

Like many others I found the initial Big Brother house small, an inconvenient layout with a loud eclectic decor. So what do others think of the new abode? Well now it looks like a spacious Austin Power's sixties sex pad as someone mentioned to me. In my own words, it looks garish. Only the HOH suite offers a respite from the psychological mind rape. Hey Shapiro, why not make the kitchen's ceilings five feet tall and the floor made of cobblestones. It'd be a bittersweet irony for the winners of food challenges. We have food just no one wants to prepare it.

July 7, 2005

A good start to this season. I'm glad to see the men are aware of the women's 8-6 advantage at the outset. I'm not certain why CBS did this, already I suspect additional men will be joining the cast. At the outset, this is an unfair move.

We start off with an interesting cast. A lot of young fairly attractive people. Heck, Janelle's a model who's getting fantastic publicity if nothing else. Now what's with Howie, the control freak jock type's never win this show! Rachel? Well she marked herself as a competitor by fighting for the initial HOH slot. Eric, well he actually seems to have studied prior seasons of the show. In any case, it's too soon to predict a winner.

A couple of comments on the initial two nominees. Kaysar, the sacrificial lamb and Ashlea, who's regarded as heavy competition for the other women. Fascinating, you'd think the Iraqi is a no brainer huh? Hang on, more than likely the women decided to axe their competition for control. Fair well Ashlea!

Pre-Show Thoughts

I probably shouldn't make this assumption but at least one person will reason that if the producers paired up people prior to the show, they won't be the only ones hooked up despite what they've been told. It should be interesting to see people simultaneously playing the pre-arraigned match up as well as naturally occurring ones at the same time.

Like the television show "The Mole" it makes sense if you use any partner as a crutch to take you as far as necessary. The key strategy being win the BIG MONEY not necessarily the maximum amount of money because it's often associated with the greatest risk. Better to get rid of a strong partner nearing the end before they do you in.

CBS's Big Brother 6 Chat Rooms

Color your CBS BB Chat Room messages by using the follow PREFIX string in front of each line of text:

F,B

F = Foreground (Text) Color and B = Background Color.

Click on the two boxes above which will copy them to the Clipboard, then in the Chat Room Input Area hit the keys Shift-INSERT (not Cntl-V) to paste the two boxes at the beginning input area. Now add one or two numbers representing the colors you want from the following list:

  1. black
  2. dark blue
  3. green
  4. red
  5. dark grey
  6. purple
  7. brown
  8. yellow
  9. neon green
  10. teal
  11. baby blue
  12. medium blue
  13. pink
  14. grey
  15. light gray

Finally, type the text of your message after the number. Below are several examples, click to store the entire preset prefix:

8,4 - Yellow on Red

4,8 - Red on Yellow

3,1 - Green on Black

13,2 - Pink on Dark Blue

1,15 - Black on Light Grey

Big Brother Strategy
EVICTION VOTING OBJECTIVES

1. EVICT STRONGEST NON-ALLIANCE PLAYERS FIRST, EVENTUALLY STRONG ALLIES ALSO.
2. SECONDLY, PEOPLE LOOKING TO EVICT YOU NEXT.
3. NEXT, PEOPLE WHO SOLD OUT THE HOUSEQUESTS OR THEIR REWARDS.
4. LASTLY, POPULAR PEOPLE LIKELY TO GET THE JURY'S VOTES.

HOH NOMINATING OBJECTIVES

1. BOTH NOMINEES MUST MEET THE EVICTION OBJECTIVES, DO NOT NOMINATE PAWNS.
2. ONLY AGE REDUCES SOMEONE AS A THREAT, MAKE NO OTHER EVALUATION DISTINCTIONS.
3. SPARING PEOPLE NOMINATION FOR FUTURE RECIPROCAL TREATMENT IS RISKY.

POWER OF VETO OBJECTIVES

1. WELL DUH, SAVE YOURSELF IF YOUR HEAD IS ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK.
2. SAVE A MULTI-PLAYER ALLIANCE MEMBER OF YOURS OR THE OTHERS BECOME ENEMIES.

ALLIANCE OBJECTIVES

1. LONERS NEVER WIN. FORM A KEY TWO PERSON ALLIANCE. REPLACE IF LOST.
2. KEEP ALLIANCES SMALL. TWO PEOPLE IDEAL, MORE THAN FOUR UNWORKABLE.
3. ALLY YOURSELF WITH AN UNPOPULAR PLAYER, DISLIKED BY THE JURY.

GLOBAL OBJECTIVES

1. DON'T LET A HEAD COUNT BY SEX, RACE, AGE, RELATIONS ETC. TAKE CONTROL.

Houseguests
Suggestion Box

Additions and Improvements

  1. The end of the show should involve the final three. Needless to say it should also be a two hour show. There has to be a contest or portion thereof spanning the final days following the eviction of the 4th place finisher leading into the beginning of this final show. The outcome of this contest concludes in the live eviction of the 3rd place finisher (who should receive $25,000). Another possibility might be an auxilliary prize such as a car which would be awarded to this final contest winner. In this latter scenario, the jury votes amongst the final three houseguests with some provision for a possible tie-breaker.
  2. Poll the viewers for ideas on things they'd like to see. Doesn't say they have to go with any suggestions and yet if a stupid in-house gimmick doesn't appear among those submitted, it might dissuade the producers from proceeding with theirs.

Stupid Ideas

  1. Concrete slab beds? Give me break. This is just plain dangerous as well as insulting.
  2. Clearly state where people are CURRENTLY LIVING for God's sake. The people watching the show don't care where you're from originally.
  3. I assume any "Tag Team Twin" who is not in play at any given moment is watching a camera following their sibling's viewpoint. Otherwise, they could not maintain continuity when it's their turn on stage. So should we assume this Rumsfeld-esque torture of the twins counter-balances the power block that they are? Also, will the twins ever be allowed to play simulataneously after exposure?
  4. The whole POV competition/process must return to where everyone gets to play.

Opinion of Prior Winners
Jun Song

Is it possible for one CUNT to be more aggravating? The winner of BB4 has a serious neurosis that is manifest in delusions of grandeur over her victory on the show. Permit me to restate this:

You didn't win, Ali lost!

She mistakenly thinks that thru her strategizing and guile she was able to influence the outcome of the BB season she was on when nothing could be further from the truth. At best, she somehow presented a non-threating countenance that Ali felt she could overcome in the jury vote. Hello! Even your HOH victory was a thrown contest by Ali. Let's give credit when it is due.

Will Kirby

This is the most conceited individual I've ever seen. The vanity shaving, self-delusional winner of BB2 thinks he cleverly manipulated his fellow contestants en route to victory. Viewers know what happened here:

You didn't win, Hardy played the worst game of BB ever!

Hardy, the hillbilly from Pennsylvania, won several HOH contests making him think he was invincible somehow and could "toy" with Will ala Cat and mouse. So he procrastinated the orchestration of Will's evection until the rules regarding HOH terms and competitions caught up with him.

Sorry, taking candy from a baby doesn't make you a grand master of strategy.
