The Blues have won the series and kept the trophy here in NSW with a solid win in the 3rd State of Origin game 36-14. The Blues were never headed and looked likely winners from the outset with smashing defense and lightning attack against the hapless toads. The NSW forwards O'Meley, Mason, Fitzgibbon etc kept the maroons at bay while the backs, Fittler in his final orogin game, and Barrett carved em' up the middle to totally outplay the mob from North of the border to take the series 2 to 1 and send Fittler and Coach gould off into the sunset winners and legends.....
With a slightly different team then 2004 Danny Buderas again captains the blues to a series win over QLD to raise the trophy for the 2nd year running.......
