How to Choose the right deck for you:

First make sure when buying a board that it is the board that you want sometimes your freind
tell you different . A board doesnt all involve the graphics because sometimes the best board is a blank ( No Graphics ) trust me never mix a mini deck with a high profile trucks ( eg. Element twig with independant Indys 500 ) It is also good that when you are buying your very first board that you ask if you can stand on it to see the size of it. If you are not aloud make sure you ask the size. dont always go for the more expensive boards just because it is a better brand it doesnt mean that it is stronger or lighter because some brands have certain type boards. Do not buy a deck in the $300 dollar mark if you have just started skating because you would be scared to do something big because afraid to snap it. Another bad thing about graphics is that they will end up being scratched up and chipped. Me personaly i would choose a Mini logo deck worth about $75 or a $30 dollar deck which is were every person started including me.

How to Choose the right bearing for you:

The first thing you should know about bearings that there is 4 different types . Abec 1 they dont run fast and they are normally in thirty dollar boards because you start with them because they dont move and you wont slide when finished move . Abec 3 are used for people who are like me who cruise around town and go to skateparks but dont Bust huge tricks because they will crack and you will kill yourself.Abec 5 are probarly the best for when you are pretty extreme but not pro and will bust huge tricks and like speed. Abec 7 These are used for high speed people who land hard and still need to keep on going these are also usefull for picking up speed in small run upps. Now i have told you this you have to choose the one best suited for you.

How to Choose the right trucks for you:

There is all different size and shape of trucks (eg. Reaper trucks although they look heeps cool are one of worst trucks that are around also they are really expensive and they wont even last you that long) If you are doing vert i suggest that you grab yourself some high profile trucks (Trucks that make wheels high of ground) but if you are street make sure you get some low profile trucks which make the board easy to spin. Also you have to make your own style of how tight your trucks are and how loose because some people need loose trucks so when they land can stay balanced and roll away smoothly but tight trucks is were you have to land hard and in the right position and this is mostly how you snap your deck. Also the riser pads are very usefull because  they stop trucks from snapping because it absorbs the shock from trucks. To hold the the deck to trucks you need bolts and you need the right size for your deck also there is 2 different type aliumn key and screwdriver there is no difference besides ones more usefull for you
