A Marriageable Young Girl
Marie Simon
(1630-1668)
Marie Simon  was born about 1630 in Mauleon, Bressuire, Poitiers, Poitou, France; the daughter of Francois Simon and Louise Armoine.  She arrived in the Quebec Colony as a Filles A Marier, contracted to be the bride of Claude Larcheveque.  They were married February 06, 1645 in Ville De Quebec.

Claude was born in 1620 at St-Avoye-de-Grugny, Rouen, Normandy, France; the son of Guillaume Larcheveque and Jeanne Alere.  He and Marie would have four children before his death on May 05, 1659, drown while returning from Ile d'Orleans.  Marie followed on July 06, 1668.

Jean Larcheveque - Was born on January 14, 1646 and died on April 06, 1699 in Ville De Quebec.  He married Anne Poussin and the couple had at least two children.

Jacques Larcheveque - Was born on February 15, 1647 in Ville De Quebec, and died on January 14, 1727 in Montreal.  He married Madeleine Leguay and the couple had at least one child.

Henri Larcheveque
- Was born on  August 16, 1650 and died unknown in Ville De Quebec.   He married Marie-Madeleine Trepanier.

Jean-Baptiste Larcheveque - Was born on August 12, 1659 and died April 17, 1745 in Ville De Quebec.  He married Catherine Launay and the couple had at least one child.
