Marie Boissel
(1617-1673)
Marie Boissel was born about 1617 in Chartres, Eure-et-Loire, Perche, Orne, France and arrived in the Quebec Colony as a Filles A Marier, contracted to be the bride of Marc Bareau.  They were married September 09, 1654 in Ville De Quebec.  They settled in L'Ange Gardien, Montmorency, Quebec; where Marie died on June 04, 1673.  Marc followed on December 22, 1687.

Not much is known of Marie, except that when she arrieved in New France she was widowed from Simon Giroux and may have been the sister of Jacques Boissel, married to Marie Heripal and raised a large family in Quebec.

There are no known children for Marie Boissel and Marc Bareau.
