A Marriageable Young Girl
Louise-Therese Marie Lebreuil
(1636-1727)
Louise Therese Marie Lebreuil was born about 1636 in Sougeal, St Malo, Bretagne, France; the daughter of Jean Lebreuil and Marie Lecompte.  She immigrated to the Quebec colony on September 29, 1659, arriving as a Filles A Marier; contracted to marry Sylvestre Vacher.  The wedding took place on October 03, 1659, but just weeks later on October 26; Sylvestre was killed by the Iroquois.

Louise then married Marin Deneau on November 24, 1659 in Montreal.  Marin was born about 1621 in Luche, Le Mans, Maine, France; the son of Clement Deneau and Julienne Roault.  He and Louise would have six children before his death on October 29, 1678 at La Prairie, Quebec. 
The Next Generation
Jacques Deneau - Was born on November 02, 1660 in Montreal and died on June 29, 1720 at La Prairie, Quebec.  He married Marie Rivet and the couple had seven children.  Marie died in 1704 and Jacques then married Francoise Dania with whom he also had seven children.

Charles Deneau - Was born on November 02, 1663 and died on October 08, 1708 in Montreal.  He married Madeleine Lapointe and the couple had eleven children.

Joseph Deneau - Was born on March 14, 1666 and died unknown in Montreal.  He married Jeanne Adhemar and the couple had seventeen children.

Gabriel Deneau - Was born on May 19, 1669 and died three days later in Montreal.

Marie Deneau - Was born on October 09, 1670 and died the same day in Montreal.

Therese Deneau - Was born on February 15, 1674 in Montreal and died unknown.

Louise would then marry a third time to Charles Boyer, a domestic at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Montreal.  Charles was born about 1631 at Vasles, Parthenay, Poitou (Deux Sèvres), France; the son of Pierre Boyer and Denise Refence.  He died about 1700 and Louise on March 22, 1727 in Montreal.
