Jeanne Herault
(1624-1677)
Jeanne-Jacquette Herault was born on May 24, 1624, at St. Radegarde, Poitiers, Poitou, France; the daughter of Francois Herault and Marie Jaqueline Jugueline.  She arrived in the Quebec Colony as a Filles A Marier, contracted to be the bride of Rene Filatrault.  They were married October 22, 1658 in Montreal.

Rene was born in 1631 at St-Antoine d'Angliers, Poitiers, Saumurois, Chatellerault, Vienne, France; the son of Vincent Filatrault and Nicole Robinell.  Rene and Jeanne would have five children.  She died on January 09, 1677 in Montreal and Rene followed on June 27, 1678.

Jean Herault Filatrault - Was born on June 27, 1660 and died unknown in Montreal.

Nicole Herault Filatrault - Was born on April 30, 1662 in Montreal and died on December 05, 1745 in Chateauguay.  She married twice: 1.  Etienne Lalonde from Vernie, Mamers, Le Mans, Maine, France; with whom she had seven daughters:  Marie-Anne Nicole, Marie, Marie-Anne, Francoise, Marie-Jeanne, Marie-Louise and Barbe.  2.  Guillaume Roussel from St. Remi, Dieppe, Normandy, France; with whom she had four children: Jacques, Louise, Jean-Antoine and Marie-Louise.

Perrine Herault Filatrault - Was born on October 19, 1663 in Montreal and died on August 05, 1689 at Lachine.

Jacques Herault Filatrault - Was born on February 13, 1666 and died unknown in Montreal.

Louis Herault Filatrault - Was born about 1668 in Montreal and died on July 21, 1752 at St Francois de Sales, Isle de Jesus, Laval, Quebec.  He married Marie-Madeleine Labelle; daughter of Guillaume Labelle and Anne Charbonneau; and the couple had twelve children.
