Story by: Chapter Webmaster Jeffrey Moore
As I begin my tale, we begin a new year. Fireworks explode around
the world. Yet, in a dark room a group of college kids work feverishly
around the clock on a new interface. Cleaner, faster, better they
cry as they chew on day old skittles and guzzle stale Mountain Dew
by the gallon. I, the Chapter Webmaster, went to the original team
with a quandry. I was seeking to create a new interface that would
create a better chapter page. The old site was over two years old.
While lean when first built, it has grown sluggish and blach. It
is my pleasure to announce the new design. Not only will the design
be faster loading and cleaner in apperance, but it will also be
able to handle a larger site. I have taken all the pages and grouped
them around simple areas, which you can see to the left. Each page
under that section is listed so that you can see what is happening.
With all these changes, one can tell the WEO is back in business.
Even as we speak, the Tahosa Internet site contiues to grow. Many
old functions that we hosted here, like forms and patchs, are now
available at TahosaLodge.org. Future growth is bringing chapter
newsletters, interactive chat, and online registration. Stay tuned,
and visit often.
In Brotherhood and Cheerful Service,
Jeffrey Moore
