Goodrich, Quan & Cheung, LLP is a full service lawfirm to fulfill all your legal needs.  Our firm was founded by three attorneys, John Q. Goodrich III, Wm. Derek Quan, and Alan W. Cheung in 1999 and was the culmination of the merger of two successful law practices.  With offices in San Diego and El Centro California, GOODRICH, QUAN & CHEUNG, LLP covers all San Diego and Imperial Counties.

PARTNERS:

John Q. Goodrich III:     Mr. Goodrich heads our civil litigation department which handles matters in personal injuries, breach of contract, property loss, and insurance litigation.  John received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Whittier College of Law in 1993, and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of San Diego in 1990.  John is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, San Diego Consumer Attorneys and the Imperial County Bar Association. 

Wm. Derek Quan:    Mr. Quan oversees our firms Family Law department which includes divorces, child custody, visitation, District Attorney cases, and support issues.  Derek received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1996, and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Economics from the University of California Riverside in 1993.  He is a member of the State Bar of California, San Diego County Bar Association and the Imperial County Bar Association.  Derek also is the primary attorney heading up our office in El Centro.  As a native "Valleyite" Derek has the local knowledge to understand and handle a wide variety of cases in the Imperial County.  Derek is also fluent in Spanish and handles all our Spanish speaking clientele.

Alan W. Cheung:     Mr. Cheung heads our Immigration Department that offers services for any immigration related needs including naturalization, visa processing, work authorization, work permits, permanent residency and deportation defense.  Alan received his Juris Doctorate Degreee from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1996 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pyschology in 1993 from the University of California Los Angeles.  He is a member of the State Bar of California, San Diego Coutny Bar Association, and American Immigration Laywers Association (AILA).  Alan speaks cantonese and aids our asian clientele.
