At The End Of The Road CD Project

At The End of the Road is a compilation of a variety of musical styles in an effective blend of the Southern Gospel/ Christian Country tradition. Each of the songs written by Bruce Langley flow from the song writer and his life's experience. The title song masterfully offers the three fiddles of studio musician David Johnson (twice voted Southern Gospel musician of the year) in an original soulful bluegrass rendition accompanying the singing duo of Bruce Langley and Mary Earl, both formerly of the Beulahland Quartet of Pensacola, Florida.The aggressive country sounds of guitarist Joel Key (former guitarist with Karen Peck and New River) lend to the unique mixture of Cajun (Church On Fire), Christian Country (If You Ain't Got God, A Texas Prayer, Picking Up The Pieces), Bluegrass (At The End of theRoad), Southern Gospel (The Savior'sHand, The Chains I Left Behind, As We Sang 'Round The Piano), and even an English version of a rewritten traditional Italian Napolitano folk melody (To Calvary). The project was recorded for Whistling Dixie Records at the Upper Room Studios of Rebecca Georgia, engineered and mastered by Greg Hobbs.
