No matter how he was feeling, he always went for the positive side of everything, never putting people down or never putting himself down in that matter, In Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Album, Morrie was a positive person and helped everyone he talked to. The book its self was about a college student and his teacher. They were separated because Mitch Album graduated and later on in his life he comes in contact with him again and re unites with him. They story is a sad one, because in the end, Morrie dies after all this time that he has spent with Mitch. There is only one thing to get from this, be nice to everyone; it might be the last time you will ever see them again.
In this book there were many helpful thoughts about mostly everything in the world. Morrie told mostly all of them and it was usually Mitch listening. “Learn to die, and you learn how to live.”(p.83) Morrie said that to just about everyone and it means a lot to me. The basic meaning to me is that I should live life at the fullest, never second guess anything, and I should always try those things that I usually don’t do. If I were to follow this thought through my life, I think I would be a better person. I would learn to love and learn how to not hate. This quotations significance to me is that I should live my life according to this, I must not take things for granted, and I must enjoy the little things in life that not everyone has the opportunity to achieve.
Be nice to everyone; it might be the last time you will ever see them again, was said earlier and it still stands true. Overall the quotation that was said will still stand true for the rest of most of out lives. On the other hand, the book, Tuesdays with Morrie, was an excellent reading. I enjoyed it more than most of the books that I have read and I would definitely recommend this to the up and coming students of the next years. The main points in this book were some of the most interesting things that I have ever happen to stumble on. So I do recommend this book to every one of all ages, it teaches you a good lesson about life, no matter how old or how young you are.
this takes you back.. back where you belong...oh fred bear
