M: General information from Dr. Nesbitt about writing (i.e., what should be in an introductory paragraph, how you put headers in a document, what a thesis is, how to write in the third person, passive voice, researching, and other such matters).
W: Some basic information about debates and arguments. Click on this link, print it out, read it, and bring it in for today. After going over this, we may spend some time in class developing some other examples and/or talking about the three pages of terms in the glossary (747-750).
