SUMMER AGAIN

It's summer again.

Sweet mem'ries flit across the mind,
finding hidden treasures here and there,
warming in the summer air,
mem'ries lain in cooling grass,
peeking sun seen thru the leaves,
adding hues the heart believes
are only meant for cuddled two,
basking in the manner
few afforded women, men,
when the summer's here again.
