The rocks lie below like hump back whales,
Their craggy bodies rising up from the ocean with slender tails.

The water a foaming dresden blue,
Gives forth a beautiful hue.

How majestic are thy shores,
And how many ships have you wrecked for seaman lore?

Your lighthouses shine forth their beacons into the night,
And many a sailor has met his plight.

Oh, Oregon, how grand your coastal hills so green,
You, indeed, create a lovely scene.
