Baskin-Robbins

The new hire was all-afire,
To distinguish himself with the boss.
To move ahead did he aspire,
But his zeal made other workers cross.

He would volunteer for extra work,
And wouldn’t put in for overtime.
Fellow workers thought he was a jerk,
As up the ladder he hoped to climb.

With customers he was efficient,
Catering to their every whim.
One scoop he didn’t think sufficient -
Giving two, the boss soon fired him.
