Founded in 1898, the Woman's Club
of Enfield is the oldest and most
outstanding humanitarian civic
organization in Enfield. The Club
is proud to have had 5 of its members
serve as President of the Connecticut
Federation.

Among the diversified projects funded
by this club over the years have been
the purchase of an ambulance in WW II,
scholarship awards to high school seniors,
Johnson Memorial Hospital Building Fund,
RID, FIDELCO (guide dogs), Hospice,
Literacy Volunteers, CRIS, and the 30 year
sponsorship of the High School Arts Festival.
Other projects include a Born to Read Program,
second grade conservation art contests,
and educational programs for members.

The club members meet once a month from
September through May and hold a formal tea
as well as a business meeting. New
members are always welcome and can learn more
of the club by contacting the currect vice president.
